Ok, when you think of T1, you think of the best teams right?
When you see a game like NIP vs idk HEET, you instantly think of NIP win because they have better players and better org right? This is T1, players that are capable and showed that they can play at the highest level and have played at the highest level.

BIG played at the highest level and won a lot of matches, you can't deny that
NIP played at the highest level and won a lot of matches
The fact that they are having a bad season, doesn't mean that they are a T2 team
When G2 was loosing every match, was the team T2?
When Faze was dogshit in 2021, was the team T2?
Even when Astralis with device was loosing everything, right before he left, was the team T2? Absolutley not

comparing G2 and FaZe loses to NIP and BIG ones is a crime, G2 and FaZe had bad periods but both of the teams quickly bounced back to the top and NIP and BIG with these rosters aren't capable of that.
Just so you know, no t1 is not top 5 by any means, but if BIG is struggling for 1 year to get a good result the same with OG or NIP super sorry but that's not a definition of t1 if they can't even get a playoffs once in a while.

after replacing XANTARES didn't even get playoffs ONCE they got fucking destroyed in group stage

for past 2 years they got playoffs maybe twice, but in 2023 they've been playing really bad and results past 2 years don't count the same with BIG

G2 biggest failure was not qualifying for the major but it was the only time they did that bad :)

BIG is getting crushed on Inferno by GODSENT, a team that has gone like 3-14 over the past three months on that same map. BIG are picking German CS over success, like how Vitality knew that an all French team wouldn’t get them majors and now they’re in a better spot because of that. BIG going international would really help this team out, and would give them sooo many options, like imagine this:

Regali: AWP
BOROS: entry
Interz: support
This would also free tabsen up to actually frag, and will let interz help set the team up, which he was very good at with C9.

faze, because. imaagine winning a major, then going 0-3 at the following major. that same major faze consistently struggled to win vs tier 2 opposition at the challenger stage.. always close matches, just check the scores for every map faze played at the event. now they win grand slam so congrats to them but that doesn't make them great. therefore they are the worst in terms of consistency overall. dont be surprised if faze dont make playoffs this major.

I know shitting on Astralis is the current bandwagon (and org deserve the hate but players don't) but atleast look at their recently played matches before shitting on them. Since dev1ce rejoined Astralis and they started playing tier 1 events , blast and pro league, they have only lost against Vitality, Heroic, Navi and Liquid with pretty compititive games like Heroic, Navi, these are all top 5 ranked teams in the world. I remember they lost to spirit on thier first match of the tournament after such a long break but that seemed more like an off day for the team because they later defeated Spirit. Not to mention they are winning quite convincingly against tier 2 oppositions and I'm talking about good tier 2 teams. So Astralis might not be top tier 1 teams but since of dev1ce, i would say they are somewhere towards bottom of tier 1.
