I think it's good we won't have a major so soon after CS2's release next autumn. Even though it's mostly the same game I think it's good we'll have good amount of normal tournaments first before having a world championship. I wonder if we will have some other tournament taking it's place since without a major the 2nd season of 2023 will be a lot less packed compared to the first season. Now would be good time for some other TO to have a tournament when there is actually space for it and they can get more tier 1 teams to attend when normally ESL and Blast take up the whole calendar.
