Look, I know the Jacky boy overperformed. But I think it's too much of a coincidence that things went so well after such a drastic change and then they went right back to their average form against ence.
And especially considering that form, they should explore other options.

In fairness Vitality may not have had a honeymoon phase in terms of winning event but Dupreehs first 2 events with Vita were a 1.16 and 1.19 rated performance, then he turned into a 0.9 to 1.0 rated player who occasionally had an event going 1.10

yes he was bad, but he was playing bad roles in g2 while having way more active roles in vitality, i also remember aleksi saying in an interview that it was a mistake in g2 to put jackz into passive roles because his aim and overall playstyle fits better into active positions like the ones he played in vitality
Tbf he was put in roles like pit on Inferno which aren't really the poistions you want to be in if you have flashy aim like Jackz, the only time you get to fight players is when they're jumping out of aps which is obviously much harder to hit headshots.
Also look at his events, He was an insane player when he was surrounded by the french players and even hunter or nexa but when NiKo entered the team he was obviously relagated to support roles because lets be honest, who would let Jackz be the star player when a talent like NiKo joines the team.
I think he could be really good in Vitality for what its worth, especially with the french buff of Zywoo and maybe Apex

he is getting old and they want to build a roster that competes at the top level for more than 1 year

I think Zywoo won't be as effective without apex, or another french igl.
It might not be the best option, but let them go back to a full french roaster, even if they have less firepower than Vita rn, they have zywoo and anything is possible.
They are holding him hostage for the sake of trying to go international, let's face it it's not working and rebuilding everything is going to be a pain in the ass.

The initial performance is always a result of landing into a new roster. You're fresh in the roster and are very energetic.... almost like a corporate job XD
Sometime later you start to drop off and the team gets an idea of your performance level
look man they might perform well in the major.
everything will be clear after the major.
+esports is not in its best state currently they might not be willing to spend the money

In my humble opinion Dupreeh has a chance to bounce back. His dip is not even that problematic because entire vita is playing like shit and ofc his rating will suffer with a bit more shittier role as compared to Astralis.
I would argue that apex throwing so many rounds with blatant 322 plays brings Dupreeh's morale down.
I would chop apex 100% and do it asap.

Just because you have a kid doesn't mean you stop doing everything else and put 100% time into the kid though. People don't stop doing their job because they raise a kid.
But then again there comes the traveling part. During the season you will be staying in different countries/cities and most probably will miss spending lot of time with the kid.
As a person who doesn't have a child and not a athlete who travels majority of the year... I have no idea what their point of view is.
However I would love to see dupreeh playing at least for couple more years.

guys, I know flair and all but they shouldn't pick up jackz even if he looked good, he's old and not that versatile, apex used him well because he used to be a similar player to jackzbut I don't really trust another IGL to use him like that in today's meta, better to get zywoo a young, hungry entry rifler. Ideal situation may be stealing Snappi and Nertz from ENCE

Slow style doesn''t work in international teams. G2 and FaZe have clearly shown that.
ZywOo dropped a BO5 kill record to win EPL.
No reason he can't do it for BO3 in Paris to win that shit especially considering it's in Paris.
G2 will lose their form soon sadly.. after that vitality will get niko and hunter, magisk will be igl.
