I'm fine with PGL but they should've looked for another location, doing it in the same place that Blast does their tournaments is just a cheap move. It doesn't offer anything new to people.

I think the idea is because astralis were the best team in csgo to host it in their country for the next game. I like it even though normally id be against copenhagen right after paris.

i attended the stockholm major, it was pretty bad in the arena. They ran out of food and drinks at the venue both days and you could not hear the casters at all. But it was right at the end of covid lockdowns so i can understand if they had short time to plan it.

Stockholm deserved some "hate" but Antwerp really wasn't bad. People just had a negative bias towards PGL after Stockholm so they overreacted to every small thing that went wrong. ESL got away with so much shit over the years because they were generally liked, only once Blast came in people started giving ESL the same treatment that PGL would receive later on. Now with Blast scaling up and hosting tournaments in other games, their production will likely suffer a bit as well. But people will forgive them because they're well liked and nobody will give them the same scrutiny that other TOs receive
