So i am finally looking at a new headset. I have had Hyper X cloud 2. But i maybe wanna change. So what to buy? I only play Csgo and COD . No music and nothing like that. Its a gaming CPU only for gaming dont even google on that computer. So what to buy? Money no problem so hit me up with the best Headset u have.
honestly hyper x cloud 2 is really good, if you want something else, go for the hyperx 2 cloud wireless edition

its preference men, the ability to walk away from your pc with audio and everything still connected is awesome, and since we live in the future, battery life is great and no latency

1.) Razer BlackShark V2
2.) Sennheiser GSP 300 Closed Acoustic Gaming Headset
3.) HyperX Cloud II 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Having owned multiple of all three I have to say the blackshark is the most reliable of the three
The Cloud 2s are the most versatile I've bought a set of them just to use on the go with my phone and at work they're very comfortable.

So far i have nevet encountered or heard about a good software for gaming gear. They all suck. I have used hyperx ngeniunity, logitech g hub, steelseries gg and atleast all of those 3 are horribly made.

G hub literally made me unable to use microphone randomly for no reason. It also does not consistenly keep any settings or binds you create. For example i do not care about rgb, so i turned it to be off while im using the headset and about 60% of the time after i took the headset off my head after playing the lights were on.
I haven't had too much of a problem with the app, I don't use it other than to change the RGB lights on my keyboard and mouse and to fiddle a bit with the audio when I listen to music but not really had any problems with it and definitely don't with the headset.
Wtf why have you owned multiple of all three? I have owned total of 3 headsets in my life, got the first one like 15 years ago.

Before I got this headset I used to use Turtle Beach X12s and I think I went through about 4 of them in 6 or so years they were really nice.
Broke 1 of the hyper X clouds by shutting the cord in a car door,
broke one of the Sennheiser's by getting up out of my chair forgetting I had it on and yanking the end of the cord off
Another of my cloud 2s the connector to the 7.1 audio box thing was like damaged after using it for ages
another one of my Sennheiser's is in a box because I wanted a change and I am currently using the Blackshark and I am finding them very comfortable, the adjustable part is a bit weak like you'll find that after a bit you'll have to push them back up so they are the correct height but other than that they're good.

I did think about getting wireless headsets but I don't trust myself enough to charge them but yeah any fault I have had with any of my headsets has usually been down to the wires either getting damaged or wearing out.

JBL Quantum ONE if wired, I have them and they are better than music phones I had before lmao. They are plasticky AF tho, but solid, and sound is stupidly good for a gaming headset, and have ANC. There are wireless JBL Quantum 810/910, very similar. Steelseries Arctic Nova seem to be bit overpriced but still good headphones I guess. Wireless HyperX Clouds shall be nice upgrade. Blackshark V2 Pro or Logiitech Pro X or how they are called should be nice, especially Razers, but idk other choices seem better. EPOS H3 Hybird. Acezone headphones. Turtle Beach Stealth Pro are releasing in a month or smth and they seem nice. Beoplay Portal. Audeze Mobius.

PLEASE dont listen to people recommending hyperx, if you care at all about sound quality and want an included mic buy the sennheiser pc38x. i spent over $300 on blessing 2s to replace my pc38x and the blessing 2s are collecting dust now because i love the pc38x so much. i even bought my dad a pair and he loves them too, theyre also super comfortable. make sure to swap to the more traditional pads that are included as they sound better, fixing the few complaints i had with the other pads.

sennheiser hd 280 pro, but u dont use it for music? why are u upgrading in the first place?
I'm surprised no one recommended the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro or the DT 990 Pro, they're definitely the best headphones with a reasonable price for CS or CoD.
Of course the DT 990 Pro are better for hearing steps and locate players if you can deal with it being open back. But the DT 770 Pro are probably better than any gaming headset.

no built in mic is probably a dealbreaker for a lot of people
if u want real sound experience go for a dac with headphone combination.
