People always talking about nafany being bad IGL but sh1ro is a problem too. He can't step up in important matches too often.

but he is the reason they are in those important matches so

1.24 rating vs top 5 last 6 months and 1.22 vs top 10 last 6 months???? how is he a problem when he has been carrying their asses the whole year

I'm not saying that he's necessarily bad against top 10 teams I'm saying that he looks lost too often in important matches. And his rating is slightly affected by low DPR

Well -sh1ro then and eliminate the problem, then your problem will be going out in group stages 24/7 and becoming t2, you choose

Never said he should be kicked It's just that sh1ro should work on it. And C9 like any other top team needs a psychologist because some players look too scared + don't blame only nafany in losses
2023-03-30 23:56

How exactly do you work on such a thing is my question, I find it people are simply made for it or they aren't. You won't adapt without more experience in big matches, some peoples nerves just get to them. Players like stavn never deliver in big / playoff matches for some reason, and broky for some reason always does in big games
2023-03-30 23:58

First, train more. Second as I already wrote is a psychologist which C9 doesn't have for some reason. We have already seen that sh1ro can destroy top 5 teams I think he needs to work on himself a little more and then he will have enough confidence.
2023-03-31 00:03

Psychologist, maybe, but train more, that's not exactly gonna help, anyone can pracc online vs top teams, and anyone can dm, faceit, whatever. Nothing replicates the feeling of a big match, but a big match. Easier said than done
2023-03-31 00:12

Training also gives you confidence. And this confidence is transferred not only to your head but also to your hands.
2023-03-31 00:14

Yep, confidence vs random kids on faceit online, lets see that confidence in an important match. You just need to grasp the concept that it is not the same.
2023-03-31 00:15

Yeah confidence from the fact that you hit every shot. Confidence of hitting 100 bots in less than 30 seconds and that your hand literally flying over mousepad without missing. Confidence in every pixel of your CSGO model. All this will inevitably make you feel more confident. At least in terms of pure mechanics you will definitely get better in any matches even if you are nervous
2023-03-31 00:19
8 replies
Yes AND THAT IS UNTIL you get into the server and the nerves start getting to you and you realise how big the match you may be playing is. Again playing bots helps, but does not convert with your actual nerves and how you will react when you get into the team enviornment and you have to thoroughly communicate and for sh1ro 2nd call and perform and hype your team up.
2023-03-31 00:22
7 replies
No it will give you confidence on the server too. Because you will have more confidence in yourself since you will feel game better. And as you know muscle memory is less affected by nerves. Our discussion is like: "no, this will not give you confidence" "no, this will give you confidence" "no, this will not give you confidence" "no, this will give you confidence" Why not look at pro players statements then? s1mple for example always refers to trainings when asked about his confidence
2023-03-31 00:29

And every pro player is not the same if it was that easy everyone could just magically perform in big matches /closed
2023-03-31 00:40
5 replies
Well yes but if each player is different then according to your logic there was no need to argue with me at all. For some reason you claimed that sh1ro will not gain confidence from trainings And again by your logic trainings won't help to achieve individual success in important matches. Then it turns out that a random silver who doesn’t care at all will play better in the major final than for example scared sh1ro
2023-03-31 00:48
4 replies
You don't get my point at all, every actual match they play is training for it, but nothing is true training for a big match. The difference between sh1ro and a silver in that game is, sh1ro is obviously 10x better, smarter, decision making, more utility knowledge, has actual strats and more. Everyone has a base level and this is just a dumb point to argue. It will not improve you to a large margin which is noticable to the general public in big matches. Most of the time either you have it or don't, or you gain it after years
2023-03-31 00:57
3 replies
Oh so apparently trainings affect your individual success in important matches And because of trainings scared sh1ro will play 10x times better than scared silver But from this we conclude that nothing is "true training" for an important match. Interesting kind of logic over there ngl It is also interesting that this logic is easily extrapolated to for example exams. It turns out that you can't "truly prepare" for them because you will be nervous

Done talking to you brother, you clearly don't comprehend my points and misconstrue them, no point in talking to a brick wall anymore. If it's so easy then why can't everyone do it. Your logic is flawed af and easy to say as a viewer, put yourself in the position and we'll see one day mate
2023-03-31 01:08

In my opinion not everyone can do this because success in important moments directly correlates with your usual game. By analogy with exams. An excellent student has much more potential to prepare for the final exam than a poor student. Although I do not accept your point of view, I respect it.

Broky is not that mentally great Ofcourse he is superconfident usually because he still have 3 another superstars to carry the game and dominate everyone. But when FaZe getting pressed by better teams like G2 or Heroic for example - he is barely showing up

Sh1ro delivers in important matches
2023-03-30 23:49
he fucked it up vs Imperial at Antwerp and that was pretty much it in recent history. even at this EPL finals he wasnt as bad as it seems, he had a really bad inferno which was lost anyway and ruined his rating, other than that he played decent
2023-03-30 23:51

I feel he wasn't terrible bar inferno as you said but his usual impact wasn't felt either till like the late rounds of mirage I remember and a few rounds in ancient, true impact which won them rounds. But people overreacting like this are stupid, and others just in general

I agree, it wasnt his best performance ofc, but like you said this thread is a huge overreaction. C9 couldve definitely won that final considering how close some maps where and they won 1/8 pistols and didnt even convert that. Faze basically had a 6-0 start on every map lol. if that didnt happen then nobody would even talk about sh1ro "underperforming"
2023-03-31 00:00

Meh I'm bias ofc but I don't see C9 winning that, FaZe were just hitting some high, broky clutches, even some from rain, twistzz bit quiet but sick at the end, ropz also, dont need to say much good all round. Also their pistols, just an example of how good they always were and they just showed how they used to win pistols. It would probably be a closer series had they won more pistols but eh, still faze imo

Faze were the better team that day and Im not saying C9 wouldve defo won but they couldve. and if they had then nobody would say anything bad about them but now I see people say that sh1ro is bad and that buster needs to be cut which is dumb

Well yeah, people can lose by slim margins and still blame players disregarding the fact of making 2nd in one of the biggest tourneys of the year is still a big accolade. It's just avg HLTV tbh, lose = change, 0 patience as always.
2023-03-31 00:16
Against MOUZ/Outsiders/Faze and that's only in pro league Almost always NAVI (even though s1mple was in a very bad shape back then) You can say this is a decent performance but I think it's quite poor for player like sh1ro. I believe he's able to become even better.

you have faze flair but you don't watch games? you think sh1ro or jame will go through a molotove or smoke to get kill? broky is very explosive awper and that's a different playstyle
2023-03-31 12:28

being explosive has nothing to with him being a passive awper in general he is looking passive but yeah of course he always goes for explosive plays the whole point is that is he going for opening frags? well obviously not, at least not most of the time him and sh1ro are different players but there is similarity

he just needs experience in the important games, give him more games in the quarters/semis/finals (which he carries c9 to btw) and he will be fine after choking some.
2023-03-31 00:25
1 bad Inferno and people cant stop the hate At lwast hate for a map in fina Zywoo kekw in quarters againts ence ajaj nuff
2023-03-31 00:28
That's the problem with every team's biggest star. s1mple has often gone missing in finals, Niko is a known "choker", zywoo also has often had bad performances in elimination games, device especially early in his career went missing in big matches and like you said sh1ro can also go missing in big matches. Maybe it's the pressure that comes from knowing you are the main star in the team and if you don't perform you are out from the tournament/you don't get the trophy and maybe that's why in for example current Faze roster where there are 4 good player who can all carry they are sharing the pressure more evenly and they can all more consistently perform in the biggest matches.
