lmao I have more hours (half of them idled and only a few hours last 2 weeks coz I was mostly playing on my smurf) but am only LE and also have gotten one of those week long griefing bans a few years ago but still got access.

People are hyping this up too much not getting access is not a big deal. CS2 is new its super buggy and the optimization is very likely ot be awful.

They will increase the amount of players continuously just to get more diversity in the data (different hardware setups etc.) and data in general, but really hard to say what will be the maximum percentage of the player base. I think Anomaly had a video where he checked his friends list (a lot of randoms, probably all CS players) and around 2% had access.
out of 356people on my friend list, only one guy has it (only plays MM, DMG rank)

might be that you have an "unordinary" build and as I've heard Valve also targeted a wide variety of hardware setups to make sure that shit is working.
just wait for it to release why do you wanna play the beta so bad? It'll be out in May-June or whatever Valve means by Summer 2023
Riot were smarter about it. You watched Valorant streams with twitch linked to your riot account and you had a chance for key drop. Got it after like 5 hours of idling multiple streams. Good marketing strategy, made huge numbers on twitch thanks to it. Not sayin Valorant is bettter, but Riot is deffinitely better and smarter marketing company than Valve.

Riot are better at marketing but Riot are dealing with a new IP, CS has never had advertising in its history and here we are at peak playerbase, there is no need to market it anymore it's a household name at this point.
Riot on the other hand have to market Valorant as it's a new game trying to capture the future gamer.

The point is that Valve is trying to push their QA on to the community. Won't work I guess. The sad part is the sorry fuckers who were not invited. Please Valve, give accses to all these incel's since their life is all about playing a game and access to CS2 would make them happy.
I don’t understand why all the hype, I got an invite on the first day, played a couple of matches, looked at the new stuff and didn’t launch anymore. there is almost no content in this beta, only one map, and only 1 person from my friend list has access, I don't see the point in grinding de_dust2 matchmaking with randoms
What's even the point of having access now unless you are a content creator that lives off that stuff?
Only 1 map, 99.9% chance that if you get it, you are the only one out of your friends who has it and you have to play solo dust 2 all the time.
For a few games, it might be fun, but that's about it.
It's still in the beta-testing stages yet.
who cares? who wants to play casual dust 2 over and over anyway
