I play like this, it just happened naturally while playing, since I felt the most comfortable to hit the shot holding my mouse this way. I played 1.46 sens for nearly 10k hours. It kinda killed my wrist, so I would change if I could.

prob cause fingertip lets you make more precise microadjustments and that + low sens lets you haev good accuracy but just use what's comfortable for you, changing your grip can fuck everything up and you'll feel like you don't know how to aim anymore

yeah just use what comes naturally twistzz is an outlier though since he got that grip from playing in liquid and having to use some sponsored mouse which was too small iirc

If I remember correctly he used to use some smaller mouse that was good for claw grip, but once he joined Liquid he had to switch to a Razer DeathAdder (which is a rather large mouse meant for palm grip) due to some sponsorship deal Liquid had with Razer at the time. This just made him adapt his grip to suit the larger mouse he was now forced to use. Eventually he just opted to keep the grip style he had developed even with other smaller mice.

Something like this happened to me, I used a generic mouse, but when I had a DA I couldn't grip it well, it was uncomfortable and I couldn't get used to the DA. Then I bought another mouse with the smaller shape and this one was almost perfect. I had it for several years until it broke. Then I tried other mice and I couldn't get used to any of them, the mice make me have to adapt to the grip of the mouse and they don't feel a natural grip. Sometimes I don't understand why gamer mice have weird grips, even generic mice have a better and more comfortable grip.

grip and mouse are memes. CSGO should be played at a lower sens though, no reason for high sens and 360s and shit when the entire game is about pre aim and crosshair placement, high sens is useful when you need to track and enemies could be anywhere, but not CS.

I can't think of anyone besides Twistzz who plays like that. As for why the fingertip and low sensitivity works so well, is mostly because humans have really precise control over the muscles in the fingers which makes precise and accurate movements easier than with let's say, your entire arm. Usually with fingertip aim it would make more sense to use a higher sensitivity due to the fine movements you can do with just your fingertips and wrist, but with a lower sensitivity you also get the added stability that it gives. The only downside is that it can be difficult to maintain a stable grip with a fingertip grip and lower sensitivity as you need to move your whole arm for larger swipes yet still maintain the stable fingertip grip for finer hand movements.

Yea a low sens does negate a decent bit of the true benefit of fingertip since you can’t actually micro adjust that much with your fingers (need your arm for anything more than small adjustments) but it still is more “precise” than palm

just use what feels comfortable when you grab your mouse. dont force a grip. copying mouse grips is retarded, its related to your mouse, brain, muscles and size of hand

Best way to find your grip: Play dm for 30 minutes (not necessarily 30 minutes, just a lengthy enough time to get in your groove) Do no think about how you hold your mouse, just play. While playing, you subconsciously find the most comfortable grip.

i dont think DM is a good tool for this. you get shot in the back/side of the head way too much. just load aimbotz or csgohub prac map until you feel comfortable

1.4 400dpi with fingertip grip and arm movement (sometimes wrist for flicks) on gpro wireless. the absolute best config for me

the mouse is between my thumb and pinky. the gpro is so light that i only have to rest my fingers on it, and its firm in my hand

The main issue with fingertip grip, is that you have to find the right mouse. You're holding it with only fingers, therefore it makes it hard to maintain consistent grip on it. It's gonna slip to different positions and keep impairing your aim, unless you have a way to pinpoint an exact mouse grip every time.

I wouldn't call that a fingertip grip. I doubt he can make any meaningful adjustments, when he holds the mouse like this(I can only move the mouse vertically, when I hold it like he does). I believe it has something to do with the upraised wrist, which results in more freedom and maybe less tension in the wrist/forearm. Zywoo does sth similar, but with a palm variation
