2023-04-02 09:42
maybe pitch it to Dana White, have csgo broadcasted on UFC fightpass.
2023-04-02 09:43
ESL has done so several times, every time they're trying to do it the community cries about not being able to watch where they wanna watch(mainly Youtube)
2023-04-02 09:44
Not sure if they tried to broadcast it on CornHub
2023-04-02 09:53
because everytime it happens twitch chat redditors and hltv users cry about it
its like people are forgetting that we are getting free daily entertainment and that these companies pour in millions of dollars to help the scene

2023-04-02 10:44

I don’t think there’s much trust between organizers (and investors) on one side and the audience on the other. Imagine it as some sort of Nash equilibrium where the organizer don’t have anything to gain by changing only their own strategy. Too much risk.
We’re used to watching CS for free online. I guess that the product now is that we’re watching and that the revenue comes from advertisement?
