also, going back to full sweden is a downgrade at all, never in anytime any sweden lineup would win a major, and i go that far that there wont be any national team to win a major in cs2
Lekr0 doesn't want to be an IGL and wasn't one in Dignitas + he is old AF and inactive for about a year
Hampus also doesn't want or really know how to be an IGL. He made that very obvious.
The root problem isn't solved by bringing in a non-igl "igl" to completely lean on the coach to do the calling.

hampus: he was the best igl nip ever had, i also guess the bigger problem isnt him not wanting to igl. But by fact he is far better than aleksib as igl and ztr is another gamble where u most likely waste time - also it makes no sense to change ur team right now when there is literally cs2 coming in summer, which ztr could be good in but also can suck.

Hampus literally said that he loved being a secondary IGL and not having the pressure of being the IGL: hltv.org/news/34744/hampus-aleksib-is-a-.. Best IGL ever? He has never won anything except IEM Fall.
But i agree, why the fuck would they get Ztr when he hasn't proved anything. My problem is also taking back Hampus isn't a great option either.
Also let's stop talking too much shit about AleksiB. Hampus is not a better IGL than AleksiB it's just recency bias. NIP management are strongly to blame for this shithousery. They have 4 players that like to entry on t-sides. How are you supposed to build anything off of that. Why are they benching Es3tag who is a support player and bringing in a 4rth entry fragger. I think AleksiB is a bad fit for the team for sure and that bringing in Hampus in the short term is better but it is not good enough for the long term.
After the Paris Major is a great time to make changes though. CS2 will not be different enough to change what IGL's will be good. It will give even more freedom to capable IGL's which only further hurts Hampus' case.

old af is a argument for him lmao - literally every tier1 igl is in that age spread from like 26-30 expect snappi/karrigan being even older and on the other side elec not being a real igl, nafany who cant be called a good igl either and jame, who is literally the best out of this but wont be anything for NiP at all.

Yeah but that doesnt mean he cant/wont igl anymore. IEM Fall was literally the best win from NiP since the Major in 2014 and before the 87-0 streak which didnt need a decent igl back than.
There is no great option if u want to only change the igl - while there being a brollan/rez/headtrick/konfig who all can kill but mostly dont.
Yes hampus is by far better than aleksi and always was - everyone saying smth else must be finn or ence fanboy. Yes. NiP management is one of the biggest problems they have since the start which is the main reason for them being trash for the last like 7 years or so.
You cant think longterm if u want to win, u have to take the best u can get rn and change when the time is over so the "new talent" is better than the "best opinion" back than. Its also not Aleksi being a bad fit, its aleksi just being trash at all - just overhyped tbh and not a igl for a tier1 team with expierenced players thats know what they are doing tbh.
CS2 will be different enough that there could be some guys that even fit better as igl without wasting months and money. But yes i understand what u mean, and i dont say that hampus is the best igl for nip - but he is by far the easiest, cheapest, fastest and best solution they can get without gambling.
Why not just use the current roster for a long period like 2 years. There is nothing really wrong with the players and the team is still relatively young. Forget about delusions for a while and start grinding the rankings tournament by tournament.

Yeah focuse that 1 point, ignore truth around it. What I meant by "instantly" that they got their shit together INCREDIBLY fast after they kicked fraudb. NiKo, hunTer and monesY became 100 % better, which is the most obvious evidence that their system under aleksi was horrible, and didnt utilize 3 top 10 players in the world at all.

I believe in the team being top 20 eventually I have watched every game consistently since 2019, but I would still like to see them return to a swedish lineup. Its sad that Sweden, the second greatest cs country of all time doesnt have a t1 team right now.

I understand that, i would probably feel the same if i was a swede but at the same time going international was probably the best thing for nip from business standpoint. They will most certainly go back to swedish roster at some point, but i dont think that will happen this year so there is no point of being mad about it. We should cheer for this linuep as long as they look promising and hope for the best results.

That is the new gen cancel culture i guess. As soon as things arent perfect they would change something. They dont understand that slow approach is sometimes better. Being Bulls fan since i know myself it is pretty hard when the team is shit but sometimes you just have to be supportive. Especially in cs which is much smaller community and fan support actually means something to the players.
+1 many rounds didnt go their way because of headtrick missing crucial shots in 4v4 situations that can turn the tide of a round, other than that the calls recently have been fine (more aggressive on t-side which was MUCH needed) and brollan/rez/konfig have been hitting their shots more (not enough yet)

+1 exactly my man. They need to grind for some time to get more comfortable with each other. Otherwise they played a good cs and i cant be mad at them for losing 2 times to c9 who are imo top 3 team. Fnatic loss was tough but it was close. Games like that can go either way and i dont think thats saying anything bad about the team..

Imo brollan is just a pug star, who adds nothing to the team. I am not a fan of shy personalities in a team sport. I also dislike syrson because of this reason and I am happy, that he is out of Big now.

Still good riflers tho. Brollan has had a good couple of games as of late and rez brings alot of experience which would help with young plaers like nilo joel and phzy on the team

Brollan is a young player needs to be developed, Hmpus even though he dont want to IGL is still th identity of NIP and still one of the vital peices of Swedish CS for this gen as a versatile lurker, ZTR is more then Decent IGL and young , As for Nilo now hes like an OBO case a very promissing young Prodgy but then again if we bring him in for REZ there will be no Experienced Player in the team, REZ has been playing since the old Nip Days, if -Rez then this NIP can become another complexity, full of promising regional firepowwer but no experienced voice, would defenitly not like a consistent playoff team to bring COL type disappointing results, So close yet so far because they only have all young players
Also when its Proven that just like brazillian players, swedish players have better synergy together then why trying to go internaional

I think it would be better if ztr stayed in godsent and let the team develop along side nip. It would be good if sweden had atleast one more good team than nip. I also think that with some promises of roster stability and the resturn to swedish that Hampus would be okay with igling again, perhaps with some help from someone like threat. so nilo, rez, brollan, phzy, hampus

I mean i too want atleast two swedish rosters infact i want to fnatic to goo full british or swedish and as for Hampus there would not be a better IGL them him but, forcing him to igl when he don't want to will not be feasible other wise if hampus agrees to IGL half of a NIP's problem will be solved already

yup, agree to all, but phzy is debateable (nawwk and draken are safer cards, but building for the future I agree).
Listened a lot to Friberg yesterday, his take on the tactical aspect is actually really good. He should (imo) become a coach and would be a perfect fit for this team. Strict and Strategical, exactly what young players needs.
The players I’ve proposed above are already signed by NiP too, that’s the crazy part. What are we waiting for?
