Maybe people protect him because we don't have a better one to replace him.
Other brazilian teams play good here against other brazilian teams, but when they play against T1 in EU, it's clear they are even worse. Then, people like to compare other brazilian players perfomance against T3 to Furia's performance against T1.
In the beggining of the year people were all hyped with Imperial's performance at domestic competition, then when they play against better teams, the truth is revealed.
But I would like to see Biguzera calling in Furia, and arT doing entry fragging. Then if he does not addapt to a new style he can be dropped, because individually he is a good player (compared to other brazilian players).

Even coming from a bad performance they are way better than these NA/SA teams, they dont have to face Heroic/Navi/G2 to qualify in Americas RMR
To not deserve this spot they should be much worse than they are nowand this is not gonna happen in this lifetime
Ofc if you want to win a tier S tournament this is not enough, but thats not what this is about rn
considering how not making it would make them consider actual changes on their roster, sure
they're not going anywhere with their current roster, at least not if they aim to actually win tournaments

Since your other comment got deleted I'm just gonna respond you here, after all that talk about Furia style being trash, the only specifc you manage to say about it was that "they're still playing recklessly against ecos and semi buys as well", while that is just straigh up false information as in the 3 maps against Liquid yesterday they only lost against 2 forced buys (each with 2 or 3 rifles at least) and that was it, 0 ecos lost.

They gotta find that middle ground of playing slow, methodical cs and explosive cs. Their play style is just rush rush rush, they don’t change anything and teams alr know what to do against them. Set the pace, mix up the tempo to make it harder for teams to read. Also, they need to drop arT and drop. ArT is decent individually but his calls are so trash. If he can change up his calls, I don’t mind him staying but if not, then boot him. Drop as a support isn’t cutting it and he can’t frag for shit, at least at a somewhat consistent level. He can be second highest fragger on the leaderboard but also be at the bottom at 14-37.

if you can't spot the difference on a team style without a roster change, do yourself a favor and just shut up, people saying that they only know how to rush when in fact most of their T rounds in the 3 maps against Liquid yesterday were slow rounds with lots of rotations, there is nothing wrong with just watching the game without thinking too much about the strats from each team but if you do it, don't go around pretending you know whats happening, you are just making a fool out of yourself
Brazilians just can't take criticism, it's not even like we are insulting them by saying that arT is a shit IGL and drop and saffee are below average. Whenever someone points this out there's always guys coming up with the most bullshit excuses or simply saying that we'd never understand. Whatever, they clearly don't want their teams to keep improving.

It was legit furia that played well last major and kept that spot for legends in NA/SA RMR, how can they not deserve that spot..
If furia did not make it to playoff last in Rio, NA/SA would not have a legends spot lol

For me Imperial is the biggest cancer in BR CS right now, everyone protects them with nails and teeth just bc it's Fallen, it was disgusting to see Brazilians making fun of Team oNe after Imperial 16-0'd them because they only get in the server when it's against a BR team, let alone one in a bad phase. Make them face off against one single gringo team and Jota is already pissing his pants, FalleN making terrible callouts and missing easy awp shots, everyone not clearing corners as they should, and it honestly seems so much like a "Vira-lata" mentality which pisses me off so much.
