Imo EG has to sell the partner slot for blast at least (to c9 at best) and build a new lineup around autimatic (if they want to have NA players there)

I agree with Launders on this one. Although I don't even think refrezh is an "above average" player. If you want to get an EU player, just buy someone better.

the biggest problem i thought was wiz, guy was never better than 1.10 in NA AT BEST... they needed a real awper, maybe some cis talent, but now they can't lose one more NA player or they lose the core, it's a weird situation

They have all the money but decided to flush it down the toilet for a pointless 15-man roster while the main team perform like shite. EG should rebuild it's management 1st before rebuilding the players, seriously. It's their fault for having such a bad rep that NAF rejected their offer and opened their can of worms behind the scenes

There are plenty of other players with similar "skillset" refrezh in NA and EU. The only reason refrezh was picked is to fill EG diversity quota for more ESG funding, classic Chicago "investment" style

While I think launders' comments are a bit of a stretch, he's not entirely wrong. EG have the money and other resources need to buy better players. So since they're going to import EU players, they may as well just buy people out to build a "legit" roster lol. The fact that they keep wasting money on average players and have more than 5 players is a joke. Also, their management doesn't own up to a damn thing. All they do is come up with excuses on why they're losing. Their coach says that their "data and other information" shows that they needed a specific skillset - which is their deficit - and is something they could not find in NA. I call bullshit. If you actually tried, you'd know that there is a decent talent pool in NA's Tier 2 scene and still a few older Tier 1 players who may not have the fragging power that they used to, but still have the experience and brains. The Tier 2 players can make up for the lack of talent needed from their Tier 1 players if anything. If EG's data is a justifiable expense for them like they claim it is, then how come they haven't picked up any good players yet and have been losing every event they've played in? I don't see that data collection paying off for them at all. Wtf are valens and vorborg doing for them aside from getting paid to help the org's CSGO team lose most of their matches and not even have respectable placements at any events? Who is approving all of this ongoing BS?
