Its because of event runtime. It cost money for the venue, staff, stream, etc so if you play 2 matches at same time you are paying less runtime expenses. It has its benefits and drawbacks but overall its good because it keeps events from being months long sometimes.

The match day lasts 10 straight hours already with having two matches played at once. It's not very feasible to do any longer than that

xDDDD +1 imagine if 1 steam only an Pgl audio guy and other editors would take 1 year to fix problems and finish tournament maybe even 2 if a lot of In game technical problems like pic not working or something.

U do realise u can go to that stream and replay it whenever??? If there was technical difficulties and only 1 stream is gg at least now if there is u can turn on other stream till other one fixed.

They do it to keep the players safe and to keep the day as short as possible. Remember they will end up getting threatened and spit on every time they beat a BR team so it's better this way.
