It’s a shame how the EG roster fell. 2018-2020 they were a beast to be reckon with. 2021 was the downfall and it started with Ethan cucking them and then Tarik who was the glue of the team leaving. 2021 was an awful year followed by a rough start to 2022 with the Stewie roster but they bounced back hard the second half of 2022. They started this year with a bang and fell off hard. Still don’t know what’s entirely wrong. They have a good roster with good players but just haven’t put it together. Idk I’m optimistic but I feel like they get a lot of unnecessary hate.

I'm not fully sold on HexT tbh. I think he needs a bit more time in T2 to regain confidence and apply what he learned in T1. I would rather keep brehze or refrezh (or even get someone like MarKE)

HexT is an entry and a damn good one at that, keeping brehze or refrezh wouldn't make sense because jeorge is lurk and nealan would be igl/support.

Roles are pretty flexible in this meta. Jeorge isn't a true lurker imo. He also does a lot of entry work. In theory, refrezh will also be functioning similarly to hexT since he's replacing him, so I don't think role overlap would be to bad there. Brehze would probably overlap more tho. Either way, my main point was just that I think hexT should stay in T2 a bit longer. Someone from outside the org could also fit that spot

Replacing Brehze isn’t the move. He’s still their best player especially mechanically. I get he’s in a slump but no one listed is close to being better or able to replace him. Autimatic and him are the only two with a good amount of t1 experience.

I think autimatic is the best player on EG atm, and brehze is probably 2nd. Otherwise I agree. I'd love to see Jeorge get a shot, but I'd rather he inherits a solid team.

I think Autimatic is their best player in form right now but I think mechanically brehze is still #1. Just talking about pure skill and mechanics brehze is easily top 3 of all time in NA. The two above him are Elige and Twistzz. Brax is an honourable mention.

No brehze no roster I get he’s been in a slump form but he’s still their best player and mechanics wise. Him and Autimatic are the only two on the team with a good amount of experience in t1 besides refrezh now.

tier 1 - best teams, conteders to win biggest events tier 2 - dark horses in biggest events tier 3 - teams that play in biggest events and get eiliminated quickly tier 4 - other teams (just bad teams) go compare ATK with Ence or Furia :D

It’s just hard for regions outside of EU to consistent succeed if the region as hardly any events. When NA was at its best, we had six events a year. That’s six times the best teams get to come to you and then our tier 2/3 teams gets the experience and practice that they wouldn’t get otherwise. Covid completely killed our scene. We have had one event since 2020 and look at the competitive teams.

Don't waste your time mens. Brazilians can never admit fault or that their teams aren't that great. They are the most toxic and cancerous fanbase on the planet. A positive post about NA CSGO rosters? No way. Imagine how much better the NA cs scene and tier 2/3 scene here in general would be if they had the support that europe gets. Give us some events so our players can get experience and learn. We have good players mechanically just no experience.

I do think there has been positive development in recent months, Jeorge, Swisher, MArKE, cynic, CLASIA, etc. are all looking solid. The biggest problem is the lack of org backing for much of the region.

Yeah, tbh ECL is looking stacked atm. Teams like TeamOne would've been competitive to win the entire tournament like 2 or 3 seasons ago, and now, they're probably like 7th or 8th

Yeah I thought the beakie alvin duo could've been really strong. It's very unfortunate. I'd love to see either of those players on a solid team where they don't have to take turns hard carrying. Beakie has averaged 34 kills and 10 deaths in his 2 maps so far. As much as I'd like for this team to make relegation, I don't see them making it with all of the stacked advanced teams this season like No Impact and WITHOUTWARNING
