I applied to be a mod a really long time ago but was denied. I'm kind of glad that was the case, though. I think I'm more useful for HLTV as a regular user, because I wouldn't be able to respond or even interact as much if I was a mod for HLTV, it would be more policing and enforcing without interaction.

I don't think I'm eligible to be a moderator, friend. I was denied once before and I have two ban records on my account. I have no idea if that comes into question or not. I spoke quite a lot with ex-admin "BATISTUTA9" and he is the one that put my name in for mod and told me that it had been denied. So that would've been... 2017, back when HLTV Chat and HLTV.Pro was were live on the site via an extension.

This is very true and thank you. :) However, I would also argue that HLTV don't need me as a moderator either. If HLTV contact me, then obviously that's different but as it stands, I'm quite content with enjoying user interactions and engaging in amazing conversations exactly like this one. :D So, a question for you: Do you think you would apply to become a moderator?

HLTV.Pro was a Chrome extension that added extra features to HLTV that were not present before. One of those features was HLTV Chat, a separate tab next to the "Forums" tab at the top of the page that simply said "Chat", which was basically like a Discord server or Twitch chat page but for HLTV users and on the HLTV website where users could just chat to each other. Unfortunately, it was infested with trolls and users would actually hack and pretend to be other users by messing with the inspect element. So I was a member and frequented the chat often but was forced to leave after I was impersonated by another user to spread n-bombs... It also added a block function, which killed the forums. It added a karma rating, much like the upvote/downvote system of Reddit, it also added a dark theme before HLTV implemented one on the site. Great extension, shame about the abuse from users, though.

hltv had no pm/dm at the time and when it was introduced, you couldnt see your message and it was kind of a notification with it fading the more you received and hltv also had no dark mode so you needed an extension to have it
