again, i dont wanna be rude or nothing, but bro it seems like u put way too much thought into what other ppl think of u instead of just focusing on what u think of urself being successful is literally a personal subjective opinion, i really fail to see how in any way having a family or gf/wife automatically makes u successful, u could have multiple kids and a wife and still be so poor u cant afford food for them; now in my personal opinion, i would not consider that successful and at the same time i dont see how my immediate family shows any kind of success for me; those are random people that I am randomly related to, they could be millionaries with a lotta kids themselves or they could be homeless with no friends or family, that really doesn't define my success, now does it? i get ur point in regards to humans being "group animals" (idk the correct word, but u know like wolves etc., living in groups), but nowhere does it say that u HAVE to do what the group is doing; u don't HAVE to do what is "expected" from u from society, u literally have free will to do whatever tf u want as a matter of fact, from reading ur messages u kinda remind of a friend I have, who at one point was so depressed after a serious breakup with his gf, that he literally couldn't do anything; he couldn't work, he could barely sleep, he couldn't concentrate, but after encouraging him for a while to rise back up and find a purpose somehow, and after a while he got his shit together and started going to uni, i think he is in his 3rd or 4th year rn so in a way i can see how friends are relevant, but my contact with him was almost solely thru text messages etc, i didn't go see him in person that much, so just because u may not have any irl friends, u literally have an endless source of people online willing to talk to - just like we are doing rn and even then, friends come and go bro, just like ur gf/wife, u can't really put 100% trust in anybody except urself, so again, I think that relying on other people's opinion on u to feel success is just dumb man, u need to learn to love urself before u can expect anybody to do the same and yes, I know it's "easy to just say", and in a way thats true, but u'll never truly find out just how easy it is if u never try btw go listen to new dawn by whitearmor, that shit always makes me mad motivated and introspective, literally makes me think of the endless possibilities I have if I just try
