If I wanted to do money for the company, strengthen the franchising, introducing pay per view, lay off everyone working on ESEA and focus on Faceit. What I would actually WANT to do is to remove franchising altogether, fix the ESL World Ranking, introduce a IEM Sydney event into the schedule, transfer ESL Pro League into a Swiss system tourney(while cutting down on length), host more tournaments but give teams more choice of which events they attend and which they skip, bring back Tier 2 LANs like ESL Challenger Melbourne on a regular basis

Most people wouldn't, but right now viewership barely matters for TOs. It would drastically reduce viewership numbers but it would make up for it in terms of creating a new revenue stream and I do believe that it would make more money than the current status quo, if done well. Montecristo, Richard Lewis, Thorin and Devin Nash recently talked about that topic in the four horseman podcast/twitch show and they seemed pretty convincing(especially devin nash knows his shit in that regard)

L opinion, better to award people, who are willing to pay, for example limit the non paying viewers to watch only 1 match per day, no adds for paying viewers etc.

You are correct. IEM is just because of intel sponsorship, has nothing to do with hosting the event.

Scrap EPL , long boring snoozefest Replace it with 2 tournaments where half invited partnered teams compete and half qualified , top 3 from each go to a final event in December and compete to win the actual trophy. Kinda like what Blast runs . Make rules for partnered teams more strict and actually enforce them . If you finish at the bottom of 3 consecutive ESL events , your right to a partnered team is up in the air and whatever team willing to pay big bucks for the slot is allowed to .

I’d introduce franchised leagues and enforce rules that make games shorter and entertaining, even if it is at the expense of pure competition. Also something similar to NBA league pass or F1 TV. And I’d paywall VODs on ESL archives and content like the Lobby that ESL upload on YT.
