BaitF

Brazy Party was REALLY entertaining to watch! Congrats to C9: I had them as favorites to win the whole ding all the way. I never "complain about luck" in CS GO, but there actually were a few unfortunate situations for Astralis in the final. Cloud9 was the "right winner", but a few things here and there actually could have turned the entire final around. But that's life: All in all I don't think ANY of the teams should feel embarrassed or regret their efforts in the tournament! I may have expected Ence in the semifinals instead of Astralis, but it just goes to show that the T2 scene at the moment is pretty tuff for everyone! One thing though: It may be time for the hltv puppydogs to let the "BaitF" thingy GO: He's been a MONSTER right from the beginning during the entire tournament! Quite a few duels he normally wins every day of the week went wrong against C9, but as mentioned: That's life. When you go over the various stats for the tournament he is mentioned in top5 in NINE out of 22 categories: Top4 Rating (of all players), Top2 (after Dev1ce) in KD-difference, Top5 in Damage per round, Top3 in Damage diff per round (whatever that is), Top3 in Total Kills, (here it is worth mentioning that Buzz actually is Top1 in "Total Assists!"), but back to BlameF: Clutches/1vX won he is Top5, (here worth mentioning Ax1Le with THIRTHEEN clutches !! Goofy is second with "only" 8 ...) Total Headshots: 1 Ax1Le, 2 H0bbit, 3 Altecz, 4 Buzz, 5 BlameF ... two pretty strong teams in the final on that account! Top2 in Opening Kills and finally: Impact Rating, where BlameF is Top4 with NO PLAYERS from C9 in the category! All in all: "Not aggressive enough": Just go over the stats again for yourself. "Only eco-frags": Yeah, right ... How would you get THAT Impact Rating then ... and btw: Should you let opponents with lesser weapons live to "save your reputation on hltv" or should you damage the opponent's economy as much as possible? And finally: The "Bait" thingy ... BlameF is for sure one of THE most frustrating players to play against for the ENTIRE pro scene! If he was "frustrating to play WITH" he would've been fired long ago. Over to you. TLDR: Time to let go of the "howling with the pack of hltv puppydogs" about BlameF: He's dangerous and brilliant!

I think he is a good player that will never escape the baitF comments, no matter how good he plays or how much he changes people will never change their minds

Which teams are we talking about? And which team would be "frustrated" going 12-3? In other words: Do you actually THINK from time to time? What is your thoughts about the "BaitF" thingy on hltv? Are you just another "band wagoner" or do you see what he is actually doing?

I think they dropped this tournament in order to prepare for IEM Dallas. They want to avoid jet lag and be in top form for that one. Smart thinking!

Astralis have been struggling with the lineup since the "Kings of Counter Strike" split up. What a legacy to carry! I don't envy Jugi, Snappi, Lucky, Bubzsky, farlig at all. Es3tag did a GREAT job and too bad with K0nfig and all that, but it's nice to see the two youngsters stepping up at this tournament! For sure NOT the "end all" Major winning line-up, but at least Astralis are showing some "umph" for the first time in years.

Their big problem is that at least one more player should be fragging like blame and device do.

Altecz and Buzz have gained ALOTTA experience and self-confidence during this tournament! Gla1ve and Dev1ce are "old-school", BlameF somewhere in between, but the two new talent-players stepping up from "boyz to men" may in return give some "RRRRRRAAAAARGH" to the old guys! It'll be interesting to follow from now on. I don't think they will challenge the "Deadly top5" at the moment, but for sure it's looking better than in a loooong time!

Agreed, I seriously just want them to get Konfig back after the major, and NIP to go swedish lineup Good for me them whole csgo community, like no kiddin trio of blame , konfig and device the way, no hate against Altekz but they need a monster like Konfig, he was the literal reason In the NIP vs Astralis game, why astralis is not in the major today

The "K0nfig" story is SUUUCH a shame for Astralis ... but time to look ahead! Let's see what the youngsters can do. (Of course I would like to see Es3tag and K0nfig back on Astralis, but let the youngsters have a go at it: They may develop into something we didn't expect!)

I'm not expecting FOUR Majors from ANY team in CS2: "To the stars" may be a slogan from the past, but at least THIS Astralis is showing a little progress after years of ... whatever the word is.

WoW ... I don't see how they can challenge Heroic, FaZe, NaVi, G2 or Vitality. Next is C9, Furia, Liquid, Mouz, BiG, NiP, Fnatic, Ence, OG, Complexity ... where they CAN put up some good fights ... but considering all the PaiN, 00Nation, Spirit, Eternal Flames, Bad News Eagles, 9ine, SAW, Gamer Legion or whatever team I forgot ... The pro scene is TUFF these days!

C9 is actually a fallen titan this major, we know they can beat any of those top 5 teams on the day they feel it,everyone acknowledges it,so Astralis giving them a good competition are good signs

I agree. C9 belongs - in my opinion - to the T1-layer, together with the current top5. T2 after that ... Yeah yeah, Liquid, Furia, OG, Big, Ence, NiP, Fnatic, Mouz, Complexity, Spirit, 9ine, 00Nation, PaiN ... but Astralis may have shown they belong in there too!
2023-05-04 22:47
I mean it was basically a T2 event. And he still finished it he event with an totally abnormal DPR for the roles he plays

Astralis IS Tier2. So many are ridiculing them for NOT being the "Astralis, we knew back in 2018" ... but they are not. Now they fight to get back to knock-knock at Top10, but THAT may not happen in 2023.

Just trying to say: We've all "laughed" about the "BaitF" babble for a year or so, but now it turns out that he is one HELLOVA player, capable of SOOO much more than just "eco frags" or "baiting". Astralis didn't make it to the final of this tournament against THESE T2 top-teams with a "stupid selfish stat-padding" moron on the team.

"Hustle" ... That's actually not a bad describtion of what BlameF is doing: He's a "Hustler" !!! 🤣🤣 Outside of being a freakin' damn dangerous opponent in a 1v1 he is ALSO very sneaky and devious in ANY clutch situation on top of being a devillish lurker ... I juzz luuuv his style! ESPECIALLY for pissing off soooo many hltv looo ... eeeh .... users!

yea theres the thing, if u find impact late round there not much of round left to play. sometimes u need to risk for team to take 1-2 kills early on so team can win round. If game goes 30 rounds, u make 3 kills per round that have no impact and lose round u will have 90 kills and zero impact with 3 rating....

And for all those impressive stats what does he have to show for it?
2023-05-05 00:12
I think he is a good player overall, but his stats are super inflated due to baiting. I personally dont care on the extent he baits as he doesn't play for the team I support, but I have seen it since the complexity days, and his teams doesn't win relevant titles, just maps. Whenever its against ecos, he will be the first one to go in and when its not, he will be the last to run in and most of the time, ends up exit fragging on ct rounds. Players like Ax1le and Ropz does lurking role much better where there team benifits. And astralis needs his more than ever now. Only Device is the super star of the team. Maybe if he plays a little bit less selfish, his team would get better results given he has great aim for tier 1 than most players.
2023-05-05 07:21
Maybe it's time for you to stop carring what some nerds on the internet say, no?
2023-05-05 07:43
those baitF lover always say "look at his rating, he is good player!" but they don't know his real rating is buzz+gla1ve+him / 3. he always wait his teammates peek, after they die he just come out. don't know why he never try crossfire. the ridiculous things is those baitF lover call it "lurker".
