i dont get it, why isnt coverage and discussion even remotely fair.
there is no fair coverage from the casters about both sides of the field.
JT on t side got some clean enteries, GRIM picked up AWP got 3k on matchpoint, during all of these situations i think the observers and casters are reporting with fair coverage.
the bias is so transparent

you identify it as bias towards European teams, but in fact it is bias towards the top team.
which is natural in any sport most of the time and they just so happen to be European.

if so you either haven't been watching competitive sports much or are just a little slow on the uptake.
Furthermore you point it out as a problem.
Guess how these guys got to the top? They earned that place and respect.
Niko has a reputation for being one of the best individual players the world has seen.
No disrespect to whichever players are on the Mongolz team, but I don't know them and perhaps if they get good and start winning against top teams consistently, they will earn everyone's respect and bias in a same way.
You identify it as a problem because it's the Europeans btw, "obviously" as you say.

What I have noticed recently is less cringe due to the increasing honesty of the casters.
You probably haven't noticed that they also point out when something goes horribly wrong for these big european teams and there is increased scrutiny in that regard.
Perhaps think about your own biases?
yeah it has always been so biased for the favorite team, it's really annoying.
the only thing its good for is making comebacks seem more insane because suddenly even the casters start believing

Its just that g2 was playing a better and more impressive cs
And when Complexity was playing good cs it was also highlighted (JT B hold and Hallzerk 1v3)
Its normal to highlight that G2 is playing out of they´re mind when Complexity is playing average to good cs.
U are giving it more importance that even the caster that are just reacting to the stuff.
Do u think that Spunj sees a incredible play and just goes mute for a few seconds because it was made by an american?

top eu teams when they play against others the coverage is clearly not same on both sides
if its g2 vs mongolz they will talk more about the spectacular shots about these top players than others who are shooting back

I am Portuguese and I have seen a lot of games of SAW and FTW in RMR´s / T1 tournaments
And its not like that , if SAW are doing something special it will be talked about, if not what will be talked is what's important (generally one team playing better cs than the other)
SAW vs OG in the RMR , RMN did some incredible 1taps and that was what the casters highlighted.
Or in Pro League 15 , Stadodo (FTW) had this situation happening to him a lot of times: picking a corner and then getting killed in the second after. His timings´s were really bad and he should hold angle for more time. And Spunj made sure to highlight that a few times in the various games of pro league.
SAW are a lot less important for the whole scene than complexity.

I don't find that at all. It normally is based on momentum in the game as to which side's perspective they tell the story from. That's my opinion. I've definitely seen them saying some great things about col in the past when they've been doing epic things in tournaments

Did you watch Liquid vs Apex...Did you notice all this bias was with liquid and not with Apex and Liquid loss and their wiffs and NAF performance is more talked about than Apex's win.
it's because they are more known better known by everyone..
in COL vs G2 did you hear how many time they said Grim had Niko's number and how well JT is playing in T side?? but obviously G2 will be more talked about team.
you can watch each game and you'll notice same trend

I disagree casters create storylines and root for the best CS always. They are neutral in that sense. They want both teams to succeed and applauds good CS. I have yet to experience biased casting in t1.
dont get triggered so much, casters shout for the more popular team just like everyone else that's all, and most nas are eu fans, nobody cares about those na team that always loses.
JKS he is the australian player but the G2 he is the european stars.
