They are so good. Your Song, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away etc. Especially the last one just broke me in such a way that I couldn't hold on to my tears, and the other two are so moving that it's impossible to not get lost in feelings while watching them. Their soundtrack is so great. I really miss the Disney classics that had such moving orchestra instead of it being just used for action and suspense instead of trying to tell the story by musical notes. They just touch you deep inside yourself with their cinematography and story telling, like playing Florence for the first time again and never forgetting that turmoil of emotions, like you listening to a piano master play their finest art, playing Chopin Mazurka in A minor for you. It's so angelic and for sure I will keep on watching more japanese films, I recommend you as well, you won't be disappointed.
