Sure but determining which team is better a bo3 is more accurate. We can see that from the amount of upsets that happen in bo1's compared to bo3's.

The problem with bo1 is also that it's always the middle ground map for both teams (basically the same as decider in bo3) which makes the gameplay lower level (more mistakes for both teams which causes more randomness) and also preparation before the game is worse since you can't predict the map as easily.
Having just one map decide which team is better is always way more random than 3 maps. You can just have for example bad luck on pistols and you can easily lose 6 rounds from just that.

And cs can be very random if you just get unlucky 1 round and enemy gets 3k trough smoke then money is fked and you lose the game

even with that I still just chalked it up to being a rough event for them but looking at the gameplay its looking alot more like a teamplay issue. They're just not there consistently anymore

Losing to Vitality is unbelieveable? what are you smoking. The teams are so similar in level. Also that comment was taking into account FaZe being 12-5 down on their best map to ITB of all teams at the time of posting. Both teams are looking extremely rough rn.
bo1's are good for randomness and wacky storylines, but if you're gonna play the playoffs as bo3's then maybe you should also choose the teams to play there with bo3's so you have the best bo3 teams there

Maybe they should play every map and fans should stop complaining about bo1. Imagine 74 bo3 in challs and legends stage, Would you watch it? Just tell me honestly. Majority would watch max 1/3 of matches.
G2 beat BNE at least 8 out of 10 times if it were Bo3

Whem i was playing 1.6, we beat a team 10 times out of 10 in LANs. Last LAN of the year, ESWC.FR quarter-finals, we freakin lose to them. You need to be the best when it matters, we dont care about the rest

tbh its really good thing. Astralis era was nice only forastralis fans, there were no emotions about majors like it used to be. Majority of berlin, london and katowice 2019 coins are diamond because of era that was devastating for csgo esport imo

I agree with you, now at least championships can have different champions, like heroic who plays the best cs but loses to vitality in the final.
