Why am i watching betting ads on the left/right side of the page?
I'm using ublock but they still appear

You know the ads is actually supporting HLTV.
Nothing is free to run, and even the biggest tournaments is free to watch, and people is complaining about ads..
Well you can't watch any sport like football for free, as you can today on Twitch when it comes to CSGO, Dota, LoL, Valorant etc.

I also watch IPL. Wanted to make a thread here asking if anyone watches and is interested but thought probably except you guys there won't be much cricket fans here.
Also I personally feel like at this point IPL is bigger than the ICC WC it self. The games don't get boring and so many games go to the last ball. What is your favorite team BTW? I don't have 1 specific but mostly watch RR, CSK and DC games.

Same thing has happened to me. Most of the players I grew up watching has retired now so I barely watch international cricket now. But IPL still is exciting for me too.

Yeah i am watching the game. It's another last over where it all full tosses and a No ball. This happened like 3 times now in this season.

I just dont like betting ads

I also use uBlock and I never get ads. Maybe you can try what #10 has mentioned?
Well I use adblock aswell, eventhough I have removed the addon actively on mutilple sites just for the support.
But I totally agree with the betting ads.
I have the same issue when my kids in the age of 2, is watching ads that is not even for them, but for their parents maybe. I think that is wrong and should be removed for accounts or contents which is purely made for children.
Just update your adblocker, be it ublock or duckduckgo.
I don't mind seeing the ads, I'm not going to click on them and they aren't invasive, it's just to support the website.

That's what we assume to be the case, of course.
Obviously sponsors make that happen, it's still a business after all.
