Cs already have a bunch of those, so it wouldn't be surprising if valve puts more skins with that theme. They are gold mines dude

Val pretty big in Japan… Tickets sold out in like 30 mins for the Tokyo event. Japanese team didn’t even make it to lan.
2023-06-10 06:45
They play on CIS servers
2023-05-20 16:55
There was recently a small tournament held in Dreamhack Japan this month, which was reported on Japanese news. It wasn't recorded on HLTV so not many ppl would know about it. Theres always been community servers which focus more on mods etc, but competitive CS has slowly been gaining a playerbase since CS2 was announced.

There was a Major in Cluj.
2023-05-21 00:24
Well.. there are tournaments, but they're not relevant enough. The last relevant event that happened in Romania was the RMR for Antwerp in 2022, which was held in Bucharest The funny thing is that one of the biggest and most important tournament organiser in all of eSports is from Romania and has its HQ there, but they simply prefer hosting tournaments in other countries. I think it's more of an issue with local authorities and them not supporting the eSport industry, as well as the infrastructure for it is not really there For instance, the reason why Katowice is an occuring city for events is because the local authorities there helped and cooperated with ESL. I am sure if some city in Romania did something similar with some TO, we would have more tournaments happening there.

Yeah, but sadly no crowd in RMRs (right?) Are local authorities fighting against such events? or just no support Wish PGL will do something eventually
2023-05-21 16:09
1 reply
Yes, no crowd, unfortunately :( They just see it as "games", something that children "waste their time" in their free. They don't see it as an actual way of entertainment and even make a career out of it PGL simply prefers to not do stuff in Romania after the saga with 1.6. In Dota PGL has organised the TI once and the Major once as well in Romania, both times in Bucharest. If I am not mistaken, the 2021 TI was organised in Bucharest because PGL managed to reach a deal with the local authorities, other than that, they have always skipped Romania afaik. I believe once local authorities help them, we will see many more tourneys here

youtube.com/watch?v=-HtjbKsBYP4 do you want to watch an S tier event with a crowd that acts like NPC's like these mfs? They are like watching a fking badminton event with those goofy ass boom sticks. There is literally no passion towards the game, just people attending for the sake of being a part of the 'newest and biggest fps game' in Japan. maybe the ones that attend cs event will be different but if this is how the general consensus act when the most popular fps hosts its event in japan, would you really want to taint our game with this pathetic crap?
