danish scene has no other good awpers than device, even back in the day when north was a thing MSL would awp there with 0,9 rating or something like that... 2nd best danish team with bot awper, if they had a talent like zywoo or s1mple i think cadian without a doubt would get him and move himself away from awping, but they don't have that there. It's a small country, its true that it has a gigantic scene if u do it by per capita, but still can't generate a god tier awper.

Tbf CadiaN was the 2nd highest rated Heroic player in the major with a good 1,16 rating while also being the IGL, them not getting to the final was more on the 3 riflers of Jabbi (1,04), TeSeS (0,99) and Sjuush (0,99) underperforming.

its not about performance but attitude and style even though he is igl he plays forhimself in a way and they already reached their limit

Sure sometimes (like Maui said in the broadcast) he wants to be THE guy to win the map and goes for some unnecessary hero plays like in that 30th round of Inferno, but the fact still is he wouldn't need to go for hero plays if his riflers did their job. If you are a team without hard carry superstars like Zywoo, or iM in this major you can't have 2/5 players with under 1,00 rating and expect to win tournaments. Stavn is their best player, but he isn't impactful enough to solo win games, he is more like the player who gets really consistently good rating (like 1,15-1,20), but not really those games where he is alone winning the game.

well in heroics case, the problem is only about performance, because all 5 players are really good, but funny enough really inconsistant, so in that case they are not even close to there limit yet. (sorry for my english)

I was thinking mostly 2014-2018. They would always fight at the top and had (and still have) a very decent and solid team. But they always somehow managed to fail in important matches.

true but they dont have issues navi had, navi would often execute with like 20 seconds left and lose just bcuz of time, it was hilarious to watch. but ye Heroic just collapsed when it was like 5-5 on inferno or even earlier, their team play died after that and they werent able to get it going after. Cadian is a strong voice in the team but when you are the caller and your calls are wrong it is hard to hype up your team after that, this is why 2nd voice is so important, and if you don't feel it, the 2nd voice should just take over. but most teams dont and wont do that. sometimes its just a style clash and changing who is calling might slightly change what you are doing and your style might win.

navi losing due to time is again very frequent ever since electronic started to IGL, they had a much more stable structure as a team during Boombl4 era
