Thought the same after I soloq'd to 2k elo ~4 years ago, but kept playing and now got 3,6k elo soloq. You play the game because you like the feeling of getting kills and wins, not because you reached some number.

Yeah the game has changed A LOT in last 4 years and it has become way more reliant of mechanical skills, so it's no surprise if you started to struggle against lower elos.
don't search for purpose, just do things that you like doing. For me it's: feeling of winning matches/clutches, getting thicc highlights, playing with pros - thats why I love cs

2.5k elo soloq is annoying because you don't get to play in high elo lobbies that frequently (>3k). Instead you get random ass lvl8s and low lvl 10s which create extremely shitty cs. I can't be bothered in playing properly when my team doesn't know defaulting or how to post plant correctly where they try some stupid off angle. Not to mention how easy to tilt and flame

No way. At very low rating people are russian, throw A smokes and wait in spawn. But at 1.5k-ish people have been great. Maybe at the high elos it stops being a hobby and it feels more like work.

Yeah that feeling sucks, but you just have to do aim routine every single day until you become better at that, then it's a matter of focusing on every part of your game until suddenly the enemies don't feel that fast anymore and now fast is like lvl10 for example.

Last time I played on face it 3k elo lobby and I soloq, I got stuck in a map of cache with 4 people all griefing.

I was like this so I just started trolling every game and just make myself and others laugh, I would troll lots of pros, it would of been hilarious content if I ever recorded it. I played a homophobic Russian who had anger issues who had no idea whats going on and talking about my fake life stories, I would talk trash to opponents and teammates before the first round even started.

I had the same, went 2.9k elo in 2018 and stopped playing (i play like 20 matches per year with friends and we fool around). I fell to around 2.5k elo and don't care at all.
Was playing valo, went im 3 in 2 seasons and no reason to play as well. Now i sometimes play with friends and I'm placed in asc. If you are not playing leagues with tryharding 5 stack, you can't go anywhere further, so either you quit playing or you just play because it's your habit

literally every single game you play vs sweating fullstack (which is ok and good) but not with 3x 2500 elo randoms
idk about you but I play the game because I love it.. Playing counter-strike since 2007 on and off and honestly no other game has come close to what cs is for me.
Yeah sometimes other players can be annoying and you get tilted, but when you don't think about ranks/elo, it does not affect you that much. When you focus on those numbers, thats when the game becomes annoying and tiring.
