Thought the same after I soloq'd to 2k elo ~4 years ago, but kept playing and now got 3,6k elo soloq. You play the game because you like the feeling of getting kills and wins, not because you reached some number.
my friend went pro by soloq till around 3.5 -4k so its possible, keep the grind my man
2.5k elo soloq is annoying because you don't get to play in high elo lobbies that frequently (>3k). Instead you get random ass lvl8s and low lvl 10s which create extremely shitty cs. I can't be bothered in playing properly when my team doesn't know defaulting or how to post plant correctly where they try some stupid off angle. Not to mention how easy to tilt and flame
Me 4500 elo and I decided to stop playing cs. 1,5 years left since my last game. And my life get better, next step is stop betting on cs xD
i came back to cs after 5 years and went to soloq on 2k elo. people there are like wild animals, i didnt expect so many toxics and trolls - after every day of playing it for past 2-3 weeks i rethink my life and wanna uninstall
find trioq with 2 players u are confident in and can trust, simply play 3v7 every game and thats it, dont play solo trust me
this game is unrealistically annoying if you play all week
very tiring when you play too much
after last time of such a grind i have not played cs for more than 1 year
you need to be at least fpl c to have a 3% chance to become a pro and you are 2k elo
uninstall the game and focus on something else you will never ever become a pro in cs go
I do voice_enable 0 instantly when team says anything remotely toxic.
Though I only solo q about half my games.
Randoms somehow carried me to 1.6k and now I'm getting like 8 kills on average
play with friends for fun
play casuals and enjoy the community
If you dont have fun then there is no point, it's a videogame
Play with friends (if you have), other than that I agree.
If you ain't having fun anymore then quit and play something you actually enjoy
Last time I played on face it 3k elo lobby and I soloq, I got stuck in a map of cache with 4 people all griefing.
Thays why I don't play face it anymore.
New prime account, Smurf silver rank, hit movement clips on nuke. Join the club and learn how to really enjoy cs
I only play casual matches. No stress, just fun.
I was like this so I just started trolling every game and just make myself and others laugh, I would troll lots of pros, it would of been hilarious content if I ever recorded it. I played a homophobic Russian who had anger issues who had no idea whats going on and talking about my fake life stories, I would talk trash to opponents and teammates before the first round even started.
if you soloq and youre decent at the game then this is the thoughts you should be having
2.5k Elo is trash, try getting 3.5k+++
When you reach at least 3k you can try to make a team to play esea open. Its a different game when you try to build an actual team, and its a lot more pleasant to play like this if you find the right people
I had the same, went 2.9k elo in 2018 and stopped playing (i play like 20 matches per year with friends and we fool around). I fell to around 2.5k elo and don't care at all.
Was playing valo, went im 3 in 2 seasons and no reason to play as well. Now i sometimes play with friends and I'm placed in asc. If you are not playing leagues with tryharding 5 stack, you can't go anywhere further, so either you quit playing or you just play because it's your habit
dunno should be fun to play?
whats the point of playing online games when u encounter mentally ill people everyday
Im playing duo with 5k premade (Im like 3,2k) and I don't even remember the last time I had at least DECENT teammates
literally every single game you play vs sweating fullstack (which is ok and good) but not with 3x 2500 elo randoms
do something better that makes you happier I guess
I think there should be more than 10 levels, it would me more fun to climb the highest lvl possible.
idk about you but I play the game because I love it.. Playing counter-strike since 2007 on and off and honestly no other game has come close to what cs is for me.
Yeah sometimes other players can be annoying and you get tilted, but when you don't think about ranks/elo, it does not affect you that much. When you focus on those numbers, thats when the game becomes annoying and tiring.
