I got a tattoo 4 years ago and I the first time I noticed how poorly it was made it was already too late.

I am thinking about getting it removed but maybe I could cover it with another tattoo.
(And this time I'll make sure the tattooist knows what he's doing^^)

For that tattoo it would likely be quite big if you don't want another black/grey tat. It's in bold black with odd spacing , so cover-up options are more limited. Every artist will come up with something different for cover-ups if you give them an idea. I'd go around a few and see how creative they get.
Laser removal is expensive and a long process, i'd get a cover up.

the thing is that character zhi looks fine though, yeah it looks unnatural (as in something u see on pc/phone) but nothing else

100% cover up bro. Laser removal is x10 more painful and not cheap.
You can cover it up with a nice big tatoo that would look sick. Find a good tatoo artist or a studio, they will probably help you with lots of ideas and suggestions

oh no, absolutely not.
you can even keep the concept of your current tattoo (if you want) and just upgrade it by redrawing and painting lines
so it can even stay exactly the same but just look better
they can even upgrade it by adding some details to look better etc. you have many choices

Hard to cover something that thick and dark unless you go something bigger than it with lots of dark shading involved.
Other option is laser but you will need several sessions to lighten it. It will never remove it completely but it will get it to the point where it’s light enough to do a much easier coverup.
Very important to research artists before you let them put something on you for life!

i was expecting a tattoo with "bad" on u...
if you got the funds and the gut the best option would be a few laser removal appointments to get that black fade and then cover up. Covering up bold black areas is only going to be with bolder and darker tattoos. It will be hard to find something suitable and even if you find I don't know if you like those kind of tattoos. Also don't forget, you can cover up a cover up! Choose your artist and design wisely. Of course it isn't impossible but it will be much harder to do. I run a tattoo shop for a couple of years, if you got more questions you can send them my way.

It looks really bad.
It's an all black tattoo so it would be easily covered up with a black/gray tattoo. You'll just have to work with something big enough where those areas can be covered up through shading.
Edit: And like someone else mentioned, you could always do some laser and then cover it up which does make it a lot easier on the artist and would let you be more selective about what you want to cover it up with.

Yeah its not done very well BUT I actually like the motive.. and I also have many tattoos that arent perfect but I actually want them to look like scribbles cuz thats the style I wanna go for.

2. building some other stuff around it so it isnt the First Thing to come in sight when looking at your arm
Just do a cover up. that is a small tatto so it will be easy.
