Its either australia or NZ that did a really good regulations where they are allowing older people to buy them but not younger people to slowly get rid of them.

If you wanna talk policy we can talk policy but acting like theres no way to stop smoking is dumb. You just have to do it slowly & regulate it more.
Also just look at the numbers of smokers by each generation is already going way down. Its just annoying when I get new neighbors who smoke.

Im pretty sure alcohol was illegal in the US for almost 14 years and people still consumed alcohol. forbidding is never a solution, raising awareness is. Aus and NZ have been making a real good job of raising awareness against tobacco, but by prohibiting it, people are just gonna buy imported counterfeit "tobacco", which can be way more harmful to both smokers and bystanders, since they have unregulated substances n shit.

ah yeah I don't like snus with tobacco in it, it's illegal in estonia. we use nicotine pouches made out of white powdered nicotine and cellulose, it doesn't stain as the liquid is clear and it's safer to swallow it, in fact it leaks MUCH less than traditional tobacco snus.
and it has a much better smell (like spearmint gum, not spearmint bleach)

I quit smoking maybe, I don't know, almost a year ago, but at the time I would just buy "Canadian" because they were the cheapest by the carton from the Aboriginal reservations.
Seriously, $17 in-store for one pack (nice taxes), or $35 for 10 packs from the (untaxed) reservation. It was no contest. I didn't care how shit they tasted at that price 😂
