do you remember how long it took broky finally to perform OK (not perfect)? Quite a while.
Lets just replace broky with other passive awper and nothing will change. Broky's best characteristic: he knows what team need from him and he carries out that mission perfectly well. Degster can't do it for example, he wanna be a star in any roster.

Sure, but you also have to consider his teams situation at the time, they had roster changes every other month in his first year and a half, in which he got top 21 in 2020 all things considered, not too bad, not too good, but to be close to top 20 means you're a good player regardless.
In 2021 FaZe was just broky and twistzz playing 2v8 so what can be said really, he was ok here, 2022 finally he got a full roster and showed what he can do under the tenure of some help. I'm not gonna act like he's some sh1ro level player or next to it, but he is one of the best players and does exactly what you need, he's not a superstar, but undoubtedly a very good star.

Who knows how he will perform in a worse team? He'll be under a different IGL after playing under the same for many a time, depends how he's used also. If he's set up for success as much as other AWPers perhaps, also tell me AWPers who solo many rounds in a row other than sh1ro, zywoo or s1mple? You can't. They don't exist.

maybe he's too passive, but he's also never been set up as a player to have this aggression, and just because he isn't aggressive doesn't make him a non factor, we see how impactful he is from mid - late rounds. Early aggression isn't the only form, and also, generally those will get highlights, but who will keep getting a consistant 1 or 2 kills per round for you? broky, this ultimately will lead to more round wins for you.
Not to mention karrigans aggressive system doesn't really allow for you to have the best stats or best input individually 24/7 I find it
