I don’t think it’s unlikely at all for them to tell him that he isn’t in their long term plans anymore. It’s doesn’t have to be as dramatic as your are imagining. These are pros. “Dead” teams play events all the time. Again it could just be a professional courtesy to him as we get closer to the offseason in a couple months. He could have also saw the rumors and asked about them and management just decided to be honest about it.

It'd be pretty bad management to let it slip through that they're looking for a replacement when G2 is playing Dallas and 3 days later Blast they're jeopardizing two events back to back after just having a massive failure at the major. I think people are just reading too much into it, yeah Hooxi knows that there is a lot of pressure on him so that's why his body language might slack off, but to interpret this as if he was already told that he's out is a bit too much imo

They will only win with him if everyone of their 4 good players play well. They had a good streak that came from consistency of their stars not bc of hooxi godtier igling. Cant have an era in cs with 0.7 rated player (karrigan excluded:D).

Niko, hunter, monesy and jks are all top 20 players and you should be able to constantly win tournaments with them. If you cant reach major playoffs with two tries something is off.

:D another 70iq guy who cant read. At what point did I say aleksib was better or he wouldve been the solution? All I said was hooxi has a way better team considering jks>>>jackz but still cant win consistently. During his soon to be 1 year tenure they have missed two major playoffs. To his defence they played well and won for 2 months but thats not really enough with a team as good as g2. Bc g2 isnt too sharp start wise they will instantly lose if one of their stars drop in form (hooxi never has a good performance if they struggle). They should just bring in one more good shooter (igl) bc a team with personalities like niko and monesy wont ever be the most tactically sound since they want to have a lot of freedom.
