nvm my brain somehow thought he went to flips1de after liquid, ignore me
Not sure would Snappi count as from Heroic to c0ntact and then to ENCE
idk im not sure if its him or some1 else
hades and im not to include karrigan or not because he went to envy then mouz
Zeus when he got kicked by navi, won the major with gambit, then went back to navi
at least gambit were huge underdogs, surely that was t2 if not t2.5
kicked, no, but jks was tier 1 (renegades 2019, arguably) then 100 thieves + col (tier 2) and then faze/g2 , tier 1.
You can mention aleksib if you consider OG tier 2, which is reasonable.
Best example is acoR
This guy was dreadful in MOUZ
But his career revived with GamerLegion
Karrigan probably is a nice example, after TSM and Faze he went to NA for a bit and then joined a Mousesports team that was on the brink of tier 1 and revitalized his career
some of the GL and apeks guys obviously
Karrigan (faze -> mouz -> faze)
HObbit (Gambit -> HellRaisers -> Gambit/C9)
NAF (OpTiC -> Renegades -> Liquid)
STYKO (mouz -> bunch of no name teams -> Apeks)
k0nfig (OpTiC -> coL -> Astralis)
immortals - furia - godsent - mibr
cadiaN even stopped playing, Hobbit, k1to, bondik, STYKO, nawwk, acoR, jkaem, Aleksib
and for single-event: snax, sdy, acoR
Zeus in gambit , cadian in heroic
Allu is a good example. Got kicked from faze and after a short stint in optic he went to play with finnish nonamers. Bit over a year and they reached top2.
Rpk should count
snappi counts, he almost went to Mongol to prove his worth
Swedish scene is weird, but one could argue someone like Golden counts. Then again C9 always tried to be tier1 team, so I dunno
The goat Hobbit
Was on Gambit who won the major and were like borderline t1 ig, then went t2 then came back to t1 with gambit/players/c9
and don't forget about Dosia, he was top 4 in 2013, 4 years before he won a major
hobbit, iirc at some point his stats on the new gambit youngsters were even better than during his original major-winning peak.
Most obviously Cadian and Hobbit
Yekindar was in an actual good team and got sent to the shithole that is NA, i hope he goes back to a real t1 team
Junior with any NA team that is not tier1 :D Was shit in Col, Furia etc, but in teams like EG black, Triumph etc, he is insane, and maybe ain't tier2 worthy, but as a player is and as an NA team also is there. Not many people you could name, so I guess Junior could be one of the more accurate ones.
Sdy, Acor, Magisk (north to optic), zeus (navi to gambit), hobbit, jkaem (was at faze at one point), nawwk (was at nip), NAF (was at renegades)
Hobbit, 2017 major champion then he went to hellraisers and winstrike(they were top 50 and with hobbit they reached top 24) until gambit picked him up to lead the youngsters project which he was able to go along with the team all the way from top28 to top1 for almost 3 months and 150 consecutive weeks in top30
Hobbit has the biggest comeback story ever
hobbit played in winstrike and hr after gambit major, and then made comeback to t1 in gambit youngsters
cadian - biggest comeback, hobbit, jkaem, styko
these 4 for sure
I have a great example, which people forgets and it's allu: ENCE -> NIP/MOUZ -> ENCE -> FaZe -> Optic -> ENCE -> JANO
And you have to remember that allu joined back to ENCE March 2018, so it took like a year or so, before they started to have good playoff runs.
cadian actually was t3 player and somehow appeared as t1 player
Hobbit is a prime example
Hobbit, Zeus are the best examples. I think jks also counts, considering the shape of coL before disband. With sdy, acor, nawwk, styko, jkaem it's possible but not quite yet imo.
Nifty, the soon to be IGL of complexity
Adren with Avangars (tho he wasnt the player he used to be), Cadian kinda, allu with his ence stints before aleksi.
mouz - idk where he was - apeks
