So ever since starting gaming as a serious hobby and buying first solid gaming mouse i sticked to Steelseries, they were used by many back in 1.6-source transition period, had good reviews etc. I bought the sensei, went through few different editions of it (standard, MLG, Fnatic) and looking back it did have huge cons, but was much better than chinese crap used before. Eventually got to 310 years later and past 310 got on TEN currently. Point is, it's pretty heavy considering competition, i got used to weight i think and i can't tell if it's too heavy or not, but there are other options from SS competitors. Superlight from logitech, viper 8khz from razer and they are 20 or more grams lighter. They offer better switches (not the superlight, but i can always mod it), better sensor, features etc. SO... Should i just mod current mouse with new switches, like kailh 8.0 and continue using it or should i drop that attitude of a 24 yo boomer and switch for lighter better options? I intend to use it with very fast mousepad (artisan raiden mid) and i'm a very high sens user (1880 eDPI). Thanks in advance.
