Issue with G2
 |
United States whippingcream
Every time their team has issues, the solution is roster changes. They have a lot of money as an org, so they feel like spending it is the solution. Even after big event performances. Second at major… change half of our players and coach. First two trophies in ages… change igl. Sure you can criticize Hooxi all you want, because he isn’t a good player, but that doesn’t change the fact the G2 is often way too fast to spend money and change players. Sometimes working out the issues internally is a better solution

They lost major final to a NAVI that would stomp anyone, it was just meant to be for them to win the major. You can't win everything. Maybe they shouldn't disband back then. Heroic lost a major final and didn't change any players.

Yeah team with no AWPer should’ve tried to make that meta work and hope Niko can continue putting up unrealistic numbers. 200000 iq take boss

issues with g2 are their shitty mentality and believing they are owed something also monesy shitting the bed too much in recent events

M0nesy can’t perform against top tier teams in big events recently. He plays flashy but isn’t there when they need him

Everyone isn't there if something goes against a plan, that is a problem. They crumble all together.

He plays for clips so people can call him baby goat. I hate when he misses easy shots because he tries to be too fancy

cant give me an example on where he tries to be too fancy and misses a shot lmfao, every awper misses a shot and i didnt know a person that tries to be fancy like him can have a 1.23 impact rating

It’s happens almost every match where he misses a shot that any decent awper should be making. I would find twitch clips, but something tells me you would care in the slightest

hltv.org/stats/players?startDate=2022-12.. You cant find a clip where every “decent awper” would make that shot. Rookie year got 7th in hltv top 20. The only awpers outplaying him rn are sh1ro zywoo and maybe s1mple lmfao, stop speaking out of your ass and using that decent awper bs. G2 without monesy are a group stage exit every tournament
2023-06-01 20:22
“cant perform in big events recently” Highest rated in big events on his team, you dont watch csgo at all

Have you watched any g2 playoff matches at all this year? The only player that can consistently perform is JKS

terrible take, highest rated player on the team. Highest rated in big events too but casuals will just believe anything they see. 2nd highest rated player at this event on g2 but yea lets blame the 18 year old vs the other 5+ year vets who can barely be consistent to save their lives

i watched every single g2 game this year and judging by the eye test he's not as impactful as he's supposed to be in big games

me too, but sure use the “i watched every single game” so you it makes it look like you know that much. stats show completely otherwise as hes by far the most impactful player on that team on ct. Cant be impactful if everyone on your team is double negative and your igl is calling retarded ct sides

They have a huge issue with abhorrent ego's. I would say Niko is absolutely woeful to play with, insufferable. He would kill your confidence and motivation. They got rid of Aleksib who would have been a stronger personality than HooXi. It was clear they chose Hooxi as he was the polar opposite to Aleksib in terms of character and personality. Any IGL with 2 brain cells could throw a good run together with a team of players as good as G2 have. Aleksib's term with G2 wasn't even that bad in the grand scheme of things, they reached finals. You want to blame losing grand finals on an IGL? Go ahead, but it's wrong to do so. It's the grand finals where the great players take over and win the event for the team. Niko has failed to do that countless times and it's others who have paid the price for it. IGL's lead you through these events and IGL after IGL has done that for G2 yet they still come up short more than they don't. EDIT: Even Niko's comments after losing at Paris major; "I guess I wasn't good enough to win a major" - Of course he had to make it about himself knowing full well how good of a player he is individually. Yet he has a track record of having IGL's removed over and over again. He even had Karrigan removed from Faze. Karrigan goes on to build MULTIPLE #1 teams afterwards, including a hugely successful return to Faze after Niko had left. He has a genuine issue with ego.

That is not true about Niko at all. He doesn't do that. And of course no proof you will provide. Unlike, for example, simple fucking everyone's brains off.

Cadian has 10000x the ego NiKo has

No, cadian just has a big personality, unlike half of these players which seem like they have no personality outside of cs. I could probably sit down and have a drink with Cadian and have a good time more than I could 90% of the players

They were looking really good at some points , like a top 3 team , but everytime they dont go far in a tourney its a huge upset.

I thought Aleksi needed more time, but they fired him, i feel Hooxi's time in G2 is up. Problem is, they all crumble under pressure, which has a snowball effect. Something going wrong - they can't perform anymore, and even less the game goes on. Hooxi doesn't help in this department. Psychologist maybe?

A) aleksib sucks and hasn’t done shit since a fluke fun with ence B) G2 has a psychologist

Who's better, Aleksi or Hooxi in your opinion and why?
2023-06-01 18:54

Aleksi is better than hooxi but both are awful for G2 and the vast majority of the community said that when both were announced. Aleksi needs to control the entire team and hooxi can’t aim for shit

They lost confidence at the major and so crashed out in Dallas. They should keep the same lineup and keep grinding. Its too early for the shuffle. Current G2 has the highest performance ceiling ever in csgo as we clearly saw before the major. People should not forget that. They have to overcome some mental barriers thats all.

They still have hope at Dallas. I hope they can pull it together because they do have the most insane talent lineup of any recent team

same issue as C9 star players lose confidence
2023-06-01 18:53
They should stick with their roster sure but at the same time they have 10 months to the next major and if they make a change now they can slowly get better and try to time their team's peak at the next cs2 major.
2023-06-01 18:54
Where's nexa gone? I think he could be a good option
2023-06-01 19:03
NiKo was destroying back then, AMANEK was awping even tho he wasnt a awper and Nexa didnt wanna IGL. Things had to change for them no matter what. As for now... I mean realisticly speaking, Hooxi is making good use of all his players. He is just not making so good use of himself, neither is he with the strats and calls. Dont know man, feels like something is gonna change. Do we want it, idk mby, Do we like it, idk mby or Do we even care anymore, idk mby
