I don't understand the hype around the M9. Its such a fat knife, and looks horrible. The default Bayonet is so much nicer Between M9 and Karambit though, Karambit wins all day

It looks amazing but because it's fat and lacks animations many people dislike it, feels slow in-game etc. For me looks alone it's the best knife, but using it gets boring af super quickly so I could never ever use it. I think people who love it just don't care that much about animations, but love the knife itself.

M9 is only good because its so big that you have a lot of pattern real estate to show off the skin pattern. Animations suck compared to Karambit or Bayonet.

out of these 2 m9. my current favorite is classic though and it’s also cheap. I have had it for a year now while I got bored of the other 2 after a month if I had to pick one would most probably be 1.4 knife though. I am also waiting to see cs2 knives ))

M9 is the most beautiful knife for me because of the huge blade, but at the same time I get bored of it extremely quickly because of lack of animations. Also it feels slow to move with, but this makes it super smooth to strafe with, which is kinda weird but makes some sense. I think if you prefer knife itself > animations, then M9 might be the best knife. But if you are a retard like me (and most people) and want to inspect the knife 24/7 then knives like Butterfly / Karambit / Talon are clear.
