Brown skin, taking their jobs at all levels, gonna be honest u understand you may not be the part of the problem but your country is terrorism as Indians and Pakistanis are often get confused for being terrorist. (Happened to me once when I was traveling through Paris. I was there for 1 day) and I have people being racist to me just because they thought I didn't speak their language. Our culture is pretty unknown to them. Hinduism has a certain bad reputation as well with certain archaic practices and these things aren't going to Change for Indians another 30 years or so. I am not sure about your country cause it needs massive reforms.
East Asian especially China, Korea, Japan are more fair skin, more appealing at least visually thanks Kpop and Anime (people who int Kdrama via anime and all). There culture is more globally known as they have used their media to propagate the idea of their nationality. Where as they truly are very different in their own country.
South Asia is still viewed as a very poor Asia where as East Asia is viewed as more advance Asia and people's willingness to learn the other culture is higher for East than South simply because how they media has been taking over for sometime now.

Well, your comment is quite sad yet realistic. I believe South Asians have as much potential as any other region of the world. One of the main reasons why we're stuck behind is internal politics and of course, the strategic mess we live in where our leaders tell us why the other is your enemy. Even while writing your comment you made sure I won't get offended shows how nice you are and how easy it is to offend each other living in the region hahaha :))
