No thanks I am close to purchase of BNE with some bros anyway
2023-06-02 19:20
yeah you have no idea what youre doing
you will quit this idea within minutes
2023-06-02 19:21
Not willing to take part, but sounds pretty cool. Good luck.
2023-06-02 19:24
Sounds cool, but it's a LOT easier said than done.
Cant wait for my team to be Blast and ESL Partner then go 0-3 Challengers in the PGL Major :D
2023-06-02 19:26
go ahead, definitely would try this
2023-06-02 19:26
i used to play it, wasn't that bad
2023-06-02 19:28
This is a great idea, hope it ends up happening
2023-06-02 19:31
sounds like a good idea, but how will you find people willing to work for free?
2023-06-02 19:32
Don't make it discord like, make it as an actual game, good idea, but it will be tough.
2023-06-02 19:42
I've always wanted to play a game like that, but doing it on discord wouldn't work that well.
Imagine if Valve made a game like that for Dota/CS, sort of like Football Manager.
2023-06-02 19:46
if you can make money from it, go for it.
otherwise dont waste your time. even if you will try your best, hltv trolls and haters will eat you alive
2023-06-02 19:46
Would be fun but from experience the match simulation aspect is INCREDIBLY hard to make simulate real life programmatically
2023-06-02 19:52
so you also enjoyed fifa manager based on excel?
2023-06-02 19:54
Gl dude, very hard project to start up and develop
2023-06-02 19:55
Amazing! I would like to play it when it come out.
2023-06-02 19:59
Had same idea couple years ago but it's hard to do it 'solo', needed backup
2023-06-02 20:05
Go for it. I will play if good.
2023-06-02 20:06
Thing is, so you want to use real Players or Just random generated names?
Cuz either would have their own positives/negatives
2023-06-02 20:10
i would play if it was successful for a full season first
2023-06-02 20:19
saw this exact same thread from other people in the past and nothing has ever happened, just seems like an attention seeking thread tbh, no offense.
2023-06-02 20:21
just remember you are not allowed to use real names if it's commercial
2023-06-02 20:23
If you want to do it then go for it
2023-06-02 20:37
"How am I supposed to win?! It's a manager, man!"
2023-06-02 20:45
damn i actually thought abt making this last week crazy how i see this post now
yeah go for it
2023-06-02 20:52
This type of game is actually viable and pretty easy to make on your own. You could have a working model (extremely barebones_ for PC and Mobile done) using unity in a reasonable amount of time. It sounds like a mostly UI based game, with the animations and graphics just accentuating the base idea. All it would be is a bunch of menus. You know what, let me go try something right now
2023-06-02 21:14
Howd you count choke in a game? I swear i played kinda like cs manager and whatever stats do you have can still lose terribly
2023-06-03 10:51
why should anyone believe that you are able to develop such a complex platform? do you have any references? or just a ChatGPT generated idea of a manager game?
2023-06-03 19:08
sounds interesting. good luck!
2023-06-04 13:57
I wonder if anyone else has ever tried this before...
2023-06-05 21:05
GL, I will be waiting that someday we will have a FM type game, I hate discord and rn have no time to be part of this, anyway, good luck
2023-06-05 21:08
Sounds dope ngl
I have no ideas or experience on making some games (?) but i'm with ya. I've been dying for on of these. I'd love to have cs analog of football manager.
Good luck if you gonna try to make this
2023-06-05 21:27
i have experience from the site rocking soccer and would love to help develop
2023-06-05 21:29
Hello! Your idea of creating a CS:GO Online Manager sounds quite interesting. It combines elements of team management, strategy, and simulation, which can be engaging for fans of the game. Here are some thoughts and suggestions to consider:
Gameplay Mechanics: It's important to design the mechanics of the game in a way that allows managers to make meaningful decisions. Consider incorporating elements like player development, training, tactical strategies, and map selection. Balancing these mechanics will be crucial to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Realism and Authenticity: Aim to capture the essence of the real CS:GO competitive scene. This could involve incorporating elements such as team rankings based on performance, transfer windows, player injuries, and team chemistry. Paying attention to these details will enhance the immersive experience.
Player Progression: Implement a system where players can grow and improve over time. This could involve attributes or skills that can be upgraded through training sessions or individual player development plans. Additionally, consider adding a mechanism for scouting and recruiting new talent.
Community Interaction: Discord is a great platform for organizing such an online manager game. Creating dedicated channels for different aspects of the game, such as team discussions, transfers, match results, and news updates, can facilitate communication and engagement among the participants.
Visual Representation: While your proposed game is primarily text-based, consider incorporating visual elements, such as team logos, player cards, or graphical representations of maps and tactics. These can enhance the overall experience and make it more appealing.
User Interface: Ensure the user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. Provide clear instructions and tooltips to guide new players through the various features and mechanics of the game.
Moderation and Fairness: Establish clear rules and guidelines to ensure fair play and discourage any form of cheating or exploitation. Active moderation and a reporting system can help maintain a positive and enjoyable community.

Sounds like a great idea, would definitely like to contribute. For many years I tried to find a game like that. Would you DM me the Discord ?
2023-06-05 22:53
I would love to participate, do you have any coding experience or would this be organizated on discord or something
2023-06-06 00:27

the problem with these games are the rights of publicity that teams and players might impose you
2023-06-06 16:56

would be cool xD
2023-06-06 16:57
