Well he struggled until Blast world finals buts since then he’s outperforming hunter statistically is way worse roles.

That would create more role clash Siuhy plays all of Nikos CT roles Im plays all of Hunters CT roles and all of Nikos T roles So 2 of the 4 players will have to convert to anchor roles they’ve never played before and they wouldn’t have a passive player on the team. But The issue in G2 is not a role issue at all. The roles on the team are perfect. The issue is just playing poorly

He hasn’t done it in years. Not sure he’d be interested in relearning all the new timings and meta changes that have developed. Also not sure he could tone back his aggressiveness as imo that’s G2s issue right now is too much aggressiveness by individual players

its all about his ego if someone like iM or yekindar will replace hooxi - NiKo would not mind this and will move to lurker, since entryfragging role is in good hands. But if mediocre player will take his role and gives entry every round - he will start to malding after 4 rounds and might tryna change the roles mid game

It’s not really about ego. I don’t think Niko can play Lurk in a passive way anymore. I don’t think he can sit in Aps for all round and not try to make a play. I just don’t think that’s who he is as a player. It’s just an inherit trait to take aim duels and such The proposed lineup: Siuhy Im Niko Hunter M0nesy Would be the single most aggressive team in T1 bar none. Everyone one that team has an inherit desire to make plays but you can’t have 5 players like that. And that’s just on T side. On CT you would need two of them to play anchor roles and none of them would be natural fits imo

Why would one swap Niko to a lurker if he is the best space maker that has ever touched the game? By far, no one playing his role is even close to him

I mean NiKo with his space making was eliminated by fnatic, and now 7 rounds on double T sides... Its just not working, he is not the same sadly. He cant win duels against ropz or rain

rating fluctuates based on team's win %, less for selfish players and those who just make big solo plays, more for team players who mostly understand this as a team game and keep trying to make that happen.

when team play is on point hunter is always on point. if not then he suffers because his nature is to try to play as a part of the team.

iM will free up Niko to do what hes best at tho. i think ct roles are easier to shuffle around between siuhy, niko, hunter and iM so that at least niko is doing what hes best at while iM and hunter can share some ct stuff. siuhy can do the bitch roles and still be a solid fragger

I don’t Think it’s fair to say Niko is best at lurking - he hasn’t done it this decade lol. If Niko really wanted to Lurk there was nothing stopping him from doing it in the previous G2. I’ve already outlined it my thoughts in #16 but TLDR it’s be too many players who like to make plays. I promise that Nikos T side roles are not the problem. He is playing the exact T roles he was in during the Stockholm major era

maybe but how do you mesh with a guy that just holds w solo and cant be traded half the time, such a gambling playstyle doesn't make a lot of sense to me

The problem with G2 is their team play, not individuals. If you look closely at their games, you will notice they have poor spacing, trading, utility usage, and site executes. Sure, you can blame individuals for not hitting shots that needed to be hit, but there is no denying that G2's biggest problem is team play. They need to iron out their teamplay before focusing on individual skills. No matter how shit their aim is, teamplay is more critical.

"omg replace x and x with iM and siuhy this will fix all of this teams problems!!" for real though - those guys are working fine in GL atm. that team should stay as is for as long as possible because i dont think siuhy can recreate that GL success in other teams.
