Magisk is likely to place around the 10th-15th mark, I'd be happy if he managed to breach the Top 10 but it's unlikely.
Spinx is definitely a Top 3 player this year, so that shouldn't really be a surprise.

Only 1 event played so far this year even though it's was major
Unfortunately one event =/= The entire year
Plus, iM is a tier 2 player, so his playoffs or top placing at big events/elite events are few and far between. If GL can make more big event playoffs and iM continues to perform like at the Major? Then and only then is it possible for him to make the Top 20.

Twistzz has 1.00± rating vs top5/10 and overall not that impressive stats. Device is missed here I think as well, but he has only 39 maps so far this year. I would give him 15±3 place as of now

Imho not participating at the event is better than participating badly I guess. S1mple's 1.07 rating will bring him down more than sh1ro's absence there.
+ if we remember IEM Rio major, broky had like 0.95 rating then, but if he hadn't qualified, I think it would have been even better for him.

It isn't, blameF had better stats than most people above him in 2022 and he ended below this people because of not attending events.

I mean there are two sides of gathering sample size of maps. BlameF lacked the number of big games but had he played at both Majors with 0.90-like stats, he ultimately wouldve been even lower at the list despite having more maps. For a player to have a better profile he needs both of good sample of maps and stats.
As of broky's case at Rio: missing that major wouldnt hurt his sample as it was great even without Rio, meanwhile his stats profile would be much better.

That depends on GL or even iM if he changed team.
It's fine being as good a player as iM but you still need a team around you to be able to reach those playoffs at big events, LAN's, elite events, etc... :)
He has a possible solid Major EVP performance but not really anything else to go on...

In all fairness, that's not really Device's fault that Astralis haven't even been a tier 1 team throughout the whole year but at the same time, that can obviously change.
Astralis looked better and more consistent now, they achieved a Top 8 and playoffs finish at an S-Tier tournament, so fingers crossed things look up for Astralis and then in turn, Device who has been hard-carrying them.

second of all, it has only been 6 months
third of all, Spinx will most likely drop off and his rating is still lower even now.
fourth of all, Spinx will not win a sinigle mvp while s1mple can easily steal at least one this year.

lmao, your all narrative is to be obssesed with trophies, S1mple and Spinx has the same rating but Spinx Has won 2 Big LAN including the last csgo major with the 3rd best rating of the event and S1mple 0.
One day you re overrating trophies for ranking players the other day you dont count it as much anymore, just choose a camp :)
