Look at the amount of trophies NiKo has, how many times he was top-2, top-4 hltv, his consistency.
You won't find a player who has won as much as him with at least 7 mvps and hltv top list domination for 8 years in a row. He is 100% the GOAT too.

GTR has Top 20 7 times in a row(i am counting 2012 aswell since he was undoubtedly nr1 that year) across 2 different games.
CSGO achievements only: 10 MvPs 1 major 4 major finals. 22 notable trophies 2xtop and 12xtop 2.
+ He and NEO also pretty much invented the Lurker role.
I get recency bias and that GTR in 2013 would get clapped today but If we are talking GOAT when it comes to riflers atleast then GTR is higher and Dupreeh is comparable/ higher than NiKo.

I'm not gonna compare dev1ce and NiKo because devve clears him easily.
NiKo has played in 2 maior finals, and top-5 for almost 8 years in a row.
ZywOo has much shorter career and literally 6 major appearances with only 3 prestigious trophies. NiKo has 12+ major appearances, 2 major finals and 6 prestigious trophies
Since when Astralis duo+Spinx+APEX is a bad team? Because ZywOo has literally won his careers best trophies with them.

So r we gonna ignore 2022 or what?when entire vitality was trash and zywoo was hard carrying 4 bots in his team,until 2023?also individually zywoo is 10x better player than Niko could ever be in his entire career. Zywoo has 15mvp+top 1 3 times and he is more complete player over Niko. Zywoo should be higher than device and Niko combine. Longevity doesn't matter that much,that's why messi is goat not Ronaldo.

I'm literally crying right now. olof was top-1 hltv in 2015 and the best player of Fnatic era when they won like three times more during 2 years than ZywOo within his whole career.
He has played at countless amount of majors, has dozens more trophies, x2 major winner, x1 major mvp, top-1 hltv and much much longer career in general. ZywOo is nowhere close olof in terms of greatness in CS:GO, he got eliminated at all of the majors and choked at every big event with Vitality. His biggest achievement is two times top-1 and a few trophies that Spinx and Astralis won for him in less than 7 months.

the only reason why both dev1ce and dupreeh are higher is because they have much-much more trophies and played at the highest lvl since 2013-2014, look at their consistency in top-20 lists its insane

seperating s1mple and ZywOo by so much places is just delusional, the only thing that separate them is the team achievments that is really not the most important in the Goat debate, at the end of CSGO they will have the same amount of TOP1/2 and close to the same amount of MVPs and you have to add that even if ZYwOo did play for 2/3 less years, he never went under TOP2 which prooves is unreal consitency and unreal level that alone clears every other player outside s1mple from a so big gap that their trophies dont change anything in a GOAT debate.

ZywOo 2019-2023 for 5 years. This is ridiculously much less and a big insult towards dev1ce who was dedicating his life and winning mvps and trophies for all those years
Dev1ce has 15 top-8 major appearances. ZywOo has played at 5 or 6 majors in total. 8 hltv top-list appearances, 6 of which were between top-2 and top-5.

so no. my list is near perfection. I would never put s1mple as first without his trophies. He has won everything. dev1ce can thank Astralis for winning so many majors in a row but their skill gap is huge as well as x3 top-1 hltv etc.
As I said, NiKo is a solid top-3 because there is no one who was a top 2-5 player in the world for 8 years in a row (besides 2 unlucky years) 7 mvps and all the trophies that he has. You simply won't find such a player.
Why should ZywOo be placed side by side w s1mple? His career is x2 shorter and his trophies are laughable compared to anyone I mentioned in this list.

coldzera was top 1 and top 2 in 2016 and 2017, but in 2018 he continues to play well, in addition to being the 10 best player in the world that year. That is, let's say it was 3 years of consistency, and among those 3 years there were 2 majors and several MVPs and EVPs. Well, GTR would also be in my subjective top-3 list as well.

major should have more weight than any other championship. f0rest has the same amount of mvps, more majors, more lan championships; had more years playing tier championships. snax had a better peak (with 3 years duration), 3x top 5, won a major. fallen i can understand although imo major should have a huge weight as long as it's the most important championship.

Niko started the tier 1 scene in 2015.
Buddy ropz and twistzz have more trophies than niko and they started playing in the scene 2 years later.
Niko has 9 tier 1 trophies. Only one of them being prestigious (katowice)

Because Get_Right was only relevant for 4 years which is twice less than NiKo. its a huge gap. Get_right was the best player the first 2 years of CS:GO and since then a dead player

I don’t think you’ll get past most of this by comparing achievements due to the raw difference in skill. Most people agree the only player comparable to Zywoo is s1mple, and that’s been the case his whole career.
I agree with your logic that Zywoo probably can’t be 1 or 2 because he just didn’t have the time to make a career, but he is a top 1.5 player on average during his t1 career, which no one has ever done or probably will ever do again. The gap is big in achievements, but bigger in skill. Olof’s career as a top player (not in tier 1 in general, to be clear, but he became a support player) was over by the time he was in FaZe, so the longevity difference is not as significant as you’re making it seem, and he was definitely not top 1.5 average for those 8 years. Olof’s longevity is not really the same as s1mple or Niko or dev1ce or dupreeh even, imo. I think Zywoo deserves a little better, and obviously if he had the time he’d climb to #2 or #3

I mean, yeah.. You're mostly right but the main factor is his major participations as well. Someone like NiKo has 12 major participations and its not even a huge number, dupreeh has 19. ZywOo only 6 and got eliminated at 5 of them. He also failed at almost every prestigious event from 2019-2022,not his fault but still .. He might be an insanely talented player but he lacks everything besides his individual awards to be higher in this GOAT list, imo.
Olof greatness lasted much faster but he managed to win dozens of trophies and multiple majors and stay relevant for a long time. ZywOo had a much shorter career with much less trophies. so for me olof is a bigger GOAT than ZywOo (well, statistically as well but it depends on what you value more)

There are 3 other players who have the double top1, all with longer tier 1 careers than cold (yes even Get_right) so even by that metric at best top4.
Then consider dev1ce, niko who on average placed way higher because they had way longer and more consistent careers, vs cold who fell off pretty bad after the 2 years of SK.
I think cold is at best top6, and that’s forgetting about dupreeh and olof

flusha and JW have 3/4 mvps and 3/4 top-20 appearances. So they were mostly relevant during 2013-2016
even if we look at the last two guys, GuardiaN (8 mvps) and kenny (10 mvps), they have way more mvps and much longer consistency (5-6 years).

Zywoo is equal to s1mple in one type of achievements, and equal skill, but worse in all other achievement metrics
Dev1ce and dupreeh have more trophies sure, but s1mple has way more MVPs, a great pile of trophies, and is clearly more skilled, only falling behind on the legacy of an era and 4 majors. Not only is that more of a team thing, but s1mple is way closer to the achievement levels (and way better on the individual achievement level) of those two than Zywoo is to him. Not sure how you don’t see that

I'm sorry but couldnt care less about this "MAJOR" where they had to win ITB, Apeks and top-31 hltv in the finals while having multiple major winners and the best rifler and sniper of 2023.
This major win is the most laughable argument you could possibly bring. NiKo has played in 2 major finals against way harder opponents. And didnt miss more than 50% of the majors of the game that we had.

and second highest in Stockholm after s1mple. He could easily win both. Boston was a huge unluck and choke, I believe karrigan made some huge mistakes as IGL and failed. And Stockholm was a NaVi show cauz NiKo's team wasnt even nearly as good as s1mple's.

Consistency is the biggest part of being GOAT.
This is why they call it Greatest of "ALL TIME".
Cold wasnt consistent at all, he got washed after 2 years. Even 32 years old Fallen is in a better position than cold right now.
NiKo is one of the only players who made five times top5. And the only rifler.
Of course cold achieved more but being goat is so much about consistency.

NiKo has multiple ELEAGUE, BLAST, IEM, ESL and Starladder S-tier trophies. ZywOo is nowhere close to that.

ZywOo has played at only 6 majors out of 19 and eliminated in 5 of them.
ZywOo has absolutely nothing besides his individual awards. Short career, no trophies, nothing.

Good list if your main priority is team achievements. But I think when making these type of lists individual achievements should be the most important, and ofc longevity and consistency are important too. So I’d remove dupreeh from this list, great player and one of the best for sure but hasn’t done enough skill wise to be top 10. I also think ZywOo should be at least third, but we all know that individually he’s the closest to s1mple so I’d put him second. Also if the bonus means twistzz being eleventh, I disagree with that too. Twistzz isn’t close to the top 10.

Yes, dupreeh is a much bigget GOAT than ZywOo. You should grow up a bit. Dupreeh has attended 19 majors (every major) won 5 and was in top-20 best players 7 times so far.
ZywOo attended 6 CS:GO majors and got eliminated in 5 of them. If this is your CS:GO GOAT who has missed more than 66% of the majors and tier-1 CS in general, then you should stick with watching Boruto and playing Valorant.
