Quite literally. Out of the 16 tournaments they played since ropz joined, only in 4 of those they didn't get eliminated by the tournament winner (C9 EPL S16, BNE Rio Major, Liquid Kato 2023, Heroic Paris Major). I will never understand people who dismiss FaZe just because they're not winning 1st place.

Fixed my post, thanks for the correction! Yes, they did lost to FURIA but it wasn't an elimination game as you pointed out. They also lost to eventual winners G2 in Kato 2023 before elimination game so I just see both matches as cancelling each other out.

You mean like in Katowice, where they had to face, c9, heroic and g2 to win? You mean like in epl 15, where they had to face c9, Na'vi, Furia and Ence in finals to win? Wait, maybe you mean the major? Where they had to face Spirit who destroyed other teams and Na'vi in finals? You can't possibly be talking about world final where they had to go against G2/Liquid/Heroic and G2 again!!! Could be EPL 17? They had to go against Vitality, NIP, Furia, Na'vi and C9! Nah homie... I think you're crying for no absolute reason, let's not start and talk about the major, where they had to go from LCQ and made it all the way to playoffs. Then what happened again? IEM dallas, knocking down G2/C9 and losing to the winner. Not necessarily, he's not getting the stat roles at the moment. I can see that he's not performing as well as he used to, but it's not like he fell off as sharply as people make it out to be. For Twistzz as in they're playing in NA so would be nice for an NA player to win there.

So close but so far, sad to think they'd almost be lifting the trophy right now if they didn't lose a 5v2 or won 1 t round in the 3-0 lead. But it's FaZe's style that allows them to get into these magical positions in the first place, so I can't be mad either. Just very unlucky and could've gone either way.

To be honest, we should already be satisfied that they were even able to win a Major and barely closed out the IGS after their 2021 struggles. But the fact that they almost always lose to ENCE and knowing that they really could've gotten their revenge yesterday on Ancient really grinds my gears...

I mean that form from 2022 was great but in this year i just feel like Faze could win more.They always lose to the last thing that stands in their way(Heroic-if they beat Heroic i'm sure they would win that major coz GL is a joke team and Vitality wasnt that strong and now ENCE).That was so unlucky yesterday and it feels bad when u have the game and u lose it.

I just posted results where they imo were not 'barely eliminated'. And not winning your own map choice in bo3 is not 'barely eliminated'. I never claimed they 'got wiped out' because that would be opposite end of the spectrum which is also not correct.

How exactly is going OT in 1st map where FaZe "Should've" won but barely lost, then having an ok map not 'barely eliminated' And how exactly is losing 14-16 / 13-16 when Nuke could've gone either way not barely getting eliminated? Unless you're only looking at 0-2 instead of map scores then I have no idea what you're talking about.

You clearly don't know what 'barely' means. At no point FaZe was even 16 rounds from winning whole match. If you think these 2 results are 'barely' lost by FaZe someone could claim FaZe has 'barely' won anything as most of their finals last year had close maps. But the truth is in the finals they won they were never close to losing with exception of Cologne.

Yes, also, yes, 90% of FaZe's wins / losses when they're in decent or good form, are close and 'barely won' or 'barely lost' Kato 22 could've given G2 a chance had ropz not won the hero round. Cologne 22. Could go either way. Fall finals. Could've gone either way on mirage. Same goes for those 2, you're acting like you made a point. FaZe is not a dominant team and their playstyle doesn't allow them to be, their playstyle allows for fun and close and explosive games almost always.

I can't help you if you can't understand a simple concept. If 3-0 is 'barely won' to you we have nothing to discuss. G2 were close to win 1st map, they were close to win 2nd but at no point in the match they were close to win the whole final. For me 'barely' implies small amount of rounds on the deciding map.

This is such a 1 dimensional argument and perspective. It's not about the overall score, theres a big difference between 16-0 each map, and OT each map, the overall score is entirely irrelivant. A 3-0 can be a closer final than a 3-0. You know if you win map 1 rather than barely lose, thats going to effect the result of the 2nd? It's mental and momentum, you're acting like its a set result regardless of 1st map. Think outside the box a little mate.

Well, in Dallas felt like they were destined to win. everyone popped off and played with confidence just like during their prime but they bottled it in the most heart breaking way. therefore i dont see a reason in deluding myself they will be fine. chances they will play like this 2 tournaments in a row are low given how inconsistent they have been since Cologne
