not really implied in other games like in cs but maybe someone can help, do you think if valve would do more changes to the game how much different would cs be? like in lol when they change some timings/gold bonuses, would that make cs more enjoyable? how do you feel about the curent state of cs?
for me every little change that valve makes it's really important and can't be missed out, since they made changes so rarely, and any big update revives the game, for example dropping nades update.
Atm people are complaining about saving thing, quite annoying but not really something we should worry about, 5 bullets awp was probably the best recent update, making awp abusers less impactfull.

+1 its not as big but smite is a game I play a lot. And last season the game was perfect but, a new season came around and of course that means they have to change everything and now its sooooo unfun.
I love cs because of how few updates it gets. I wish it would get more optimizations though.

It also feels like Valve purposely abandonded certain weapons and maps because they realized they didn't work, unlike a lot of other games (especially Overwatch) where Blizzard is still trying to make hero's like Sombra a meta character when she just isn't fun to play as or against. Another problem is characters like brigitte that require very low skill to get a lot of value out of are still in the game.
Same thing could be said about Riot.
Though i will say i think Vertigo and Ancient are both pretty objectively bad maps and should be changed more or removed entirely. I thought CS couldn't get good new maps, until they added Anubis which i think is a very solid map.

I think Vertigo is a fun map too, it's good for casual fun but it doesn't perform as well in high ranks of CS:GO and because they are so unpopular you basically don't ever play them at high ranks of faceit
I have always felt that the timings are awkward for Ancient and i hate the sound issues with Vertigo.

my biggest problem with vertigo is the same the pros have with it, A ramp is nearly impossible to hold as cts without giving up most of the ramp or stacking 3 players there

I think Valve thinks the meta is in a good place, nearly every gun is viable and serves a purpose. It's really the players who define the meta in a sense.
i dont see why you would need constant big updates and meta shifts
New smokes will already be such a huge change its not even funny.
yeah as if csgo is in a great state right now? Map pool is pretty shit lets be real, and it doesnt help the fact they fucked the economy so saving is 95% of the time the best strategy possible.
All the maps go to 30+ rounds and shit is boring to watch. Of course you get some anomalies like Ence v FaZe, but Paris Major was fucking terrible at times with how these games kept going to overtime.
I realy want to se a smg buff with more expensive price ofc. Amd aug and galil buff. Just to se more variation in the guns. Tiers to se ak,m4 and awp in every buy rounds.
Maby this buff can change the meta more than it is today. I dont think the smoke chamge will change the game.. its more like a cool feture to nade smoke in a eco round or something.
