best teams of all time

who would win a tournament with the best teams of each year? 2013 NiP 2015 fnatic 2015 EnVyUs 2016 LG/SK 2018 Astralis 2021 NaVi 2022 FaZe 2023 G2 as much as i wanna say envyus, i think astralis would win it

top 2 team for 2 years and competitive team for 5 years........ kind of irrelevant when we are talking about the best team of every year Why is liquid skipped? Because they where never the best team in the world The speed of a grand slam doesn't really matter when the best team in the world didn't compete in the tournaments. Astralis and Liquid beat eachother the same amount of times during the liquid grand slam. Also no, NIP has the longest win streak with 0-86.
2023-06-06 00:22
well this was when astralis was dominating every thing, so no they werent the best team, astralis were. liquid were just second, they could never win against astralis.... unfortunately
2023-06-06 00:24
longest match win streak? liquid? wtf is this guy on haha. blud was not born when NIP won 87 maps or what
2023-06-06 11:39
What is bro babbling about. Liquid was never even close to NiPs 87-0. Ofcourse the fastest IGS but also the fastest downfall. They were good for 2 months which isn't an era btw.

The level of competition, map pool, and changes in weapons meta changes year to year so unfortunately you cannot really compare. The best team at the time is the best.

people who say that a team like SK couldn't beat modern teams probably didn't watch or don't remember how insane coldzera, fer and fallen were
2023-06-05 23:47

true, if that SK team travelled in time to 2023 and got all the resources modern teams have like all the setups and game knowledge that even t3 teams posses, they would just learn the meta and smash. the cohesion, the mentality and personalities are what makes a great team, meta can easily be learned.

VP 2014? I guess... but Liquid 2019 is superior. Won multiple events and was the team that won the IGS the fastest. Vitality is simply too soon. They won 2 events in a row. That's it. Most of the teams from your list are teams that dominated for specific periods of time. Vitality doesn't even have the firepower to compete with any of these teams. ZywOo isn't enough,

Astralis 2018/2019 not even a debate
2023-06-07 22:18
I think it would depend on what version of CS the teams are playing if were playing 2023 CSGO the I'd have to say 2018 Astralis and think the grand final would be against 2022 FaZe. if its like the 2013/2015 CS then id put my money on 2015 fnatic with the grand final going against LG/SK

2023 cause level is always getting better but not g2 for sure
2023-06-07 22:57
probably Navi 2020-21. Mid Covid season. Everyone was arguably their best level. Changes of metas. But navi stayed dominant for a whole year until boombi4 and war situation started. literally almost won everything in a year
2023-06-07 23:03
2021 navi wins 2013-2015 is joke era, they would lose to any top50 team today. Just rewatch the games if you don't believe me. 16/17 LG-SK: legit core of aimers even by today standards, with actual genius levels of game sense and concepts that not only are compatible with modern play, but originated them. Fer CT aggresion and info paly, fallen battle awpers and call, cold abusing map control information with lurks, all great stuff that would hold up well. They lack modern era knowledge of utilities, so they lose to recent teams, but grant them access to a 2023 youtube nades channel and I no longer know what happens. Given the age of players at the time, the real tragedy is that they were from a 3rd world isolated country, otherwise they would have won everything since csgo debut, easily. 2018 astralis: 5 extremely smart players with device and magisk shooting very hard. They excelled in utility innovation, preparation, coordination and anti-strating, something that modern teams do as well. Without that edge, I think they lose the head to head, but maybe the games are close in unexpected ways. 2021 navi: nearly flawless team at the eye test. They incorporated SK game sens and Astralis preparation combined with god like form of peak s1mple, elec and b1t. Without the Ukraine war (and boombl4 marrying a hoooker), there would be zero doubt as they being the best and most successful team ever. 2022 faze: many of the same qualities as navi, but faze didn't have a players as good as simple, and navi didn't have a player as bad as karrigan. 2023 teams: lol. not only are they lacking a truly dominant team, the eye test is not generous. So many mistakes all around. Truly a weird time to watch high level CS, but the competion and changes at the top make it exciting I guess.
2023-06-07 23:45
NIP with get right fnatic with olof faze with niko legendary astralis team legendary virtus pro team /closed
2023-06-08 02:17
Ofc astralis, as a lgsk fan hurts me to say but the astralis dominance was absurd. This faze clan lineup remember me a lot of the old sk/lg titles, not the most correct cs but a lot of individuals performing For me it would be 1 astralis 2 navi 3 sk
