Data is still being stored, contained, and sold no matter what browser you're using unless it's Tor or you are using a bridge. Even then, information can still be obtained. If you want to be completely anonymous, use Whonix and Graphene.

opera is so laggy for me while i've never had any problem with my chrome with 21041 add ons
idk why you cant use chrome, edge and opera gx
chrome , simple and works , lots of plugins and configs for me
brave is good , I use it for poon , but it feels bloated

Mozilla Firefox can be extremely powerful when setup correctly. It's anti-tracking settings are very much up there if not better than Brave. I use Brave, Tor, Firefox and Mullvad browser depending on what i need to do/download/research/use for work.
I really really really want to switch to edge but chrome stores all my passwords and bookmarks

Firefox with various tweaks, I am not a fan of selling my data to huge corpos and gotta support the only browser that isn't using spyware-ridden chromium.
Safari on macOS and Edge on Windows.
I've been using Opera for a long time (not gx) and I'm fine so far. Dont really care about "safety", I dont have any illusions on that. Everything you do/keep in storages or clouds might be leaked so it's better to be ready for that than expect "safety" from browsers/OS/anything.
Sometimes I use Edge and it's also fine. No more Internet Explorer jokes, thx Microsoft xD

Firefox, basically the only open source browser which isn't using the chromium engine and which you can also customize to a degree where you only leave behinde the slightest of trails. :)
Also still the best browser in general for me.
