It would be cool, but it should be taken seriously and not be like these championships they do nowadays. At least 16 Teams, a championship with 20 days exclusively for preparation and then 10 days of competition. After that, a 20-day break so that the players can return to their teams and prepare for the "normal" competition. The 20-day break from CS would serve to make people look forward to the competition. The voting for the teams would have to be from the community, and would allow a maximum of 2/3 players from the same team.

I don't think org will have a problem to let their players play a 3-4 days tournament. Or the better idea would be to host the tournament during competitions break and then whoever wants to represent their national team,to play

Not even the Blast 8 team tournaments are 3-4 days long, there is no way it wouldn't take at least a week. Plus travel, plus media days, plus some qualifiers to determine who makes the tournament in the first place. World cups are giant time sinks because you have so many countries that want to go so you need to have extensive qualification processes and there just isn't enough room in the schedule for that

It doesn't happen because a lot of countries do NOT have enough players, or good enough players. Denmark, USA, France, Sweden, Brazil have a good scene. Every other scene do not have any good players. Australia? Non Existent. China? Non-Existent? Mongolia? Decent at best. It would be like a 4/6 team tournament.

The problem is how to deal with teams contract. The players wouldn't play for their own team so they may end up with no salary during that period. If Valve would put some money on the table to create the national teams, it could become smth real.

the reality is players like niko, hunter would not even play there cause bosnia would not qualify, same for spinx israel, twistzz canada, ropz latvia, sunpayus spain (movistar riders mby), iM romania, there are not enough tier1 players for some countries, +it would be battle between Denmark, Ukraine, Russia, USA (USA probably would be bad anyways) no other countries really have a full core with top tier players,

Because there's no prestige around it and in CS that means prize pool and sponsors. Have it once every two years with at least a 1.5 to 2M prize pool. Put it on the calendar so that it can't overlap with anything else and make sure each team has the time to train, meaning there have to be at least 2 weeks between the previous event ends and this event begins. And no more than 2 players from 1 team should be used.
