CSGO IS A JOKE TWISTZZ
Denmark OPINIONATOR
Twistzz who is now considered a csgo legend said on talking counter podcast 1. that Esic is a joke and how they arent getting in kicked out by now is crazy, they are too inconsistent abd let people get away with cheating after catching them cheating? 2. Csppa are just paycheck stealers they don't do anything the players who are represented dont even show up for meetings and coaches wanted to take their place but they weren't allowed because they were players then they were allowed because no players went. 3. Player break schedule was based on Chrisj suggestion in a group chat where some teams were not even invited and because nobody else responded because they are too lazy and useless they went with Chrisj suggestion. 4. Drug tests and cheating prevention is inconsistent, people got lazy who cares its all investment money, do the bare minimum. Said he can cheat at the next lan if he wanted to. CSGO has been all a lie, its just a bunch of basement dwellers using laundered money to have a scene, nothing seems like it matters. I know I said I would quit hltv if hooxi won 3 lans in csgo but now I think I'm quitting in general and moving on with my life in valorante. Valave needs to do something for cs2 this is so sad.

overall just alot more professional especially with franchise so u have consistent rules, player base is cringe so i would just mute is the only problem, a lot of shit talkers who sound the same. But because its censored in a way it misses alot of the charm that CSGO has. CSGO pro scene is just built on scams.

His 3rd point is crazy, i remember, was it last year (?) Where only 5 players in the whole scene got to give their opinion and they didn't care about the rest, decided to change it and that was it. But it is what it is

I think this point came up because it made sense to the guys on the pod that player break should be after a major, its when teams want to make changes the most, does not make sense. With csppa or esic? apparently he said something like some of the profits they get go to pay for unknown staff in an mysterious office he has no info about, like u have to wonder wtf are these people doing on a day to day basis? Get paid to browse the internet probably.

Obvious info. He forgot to mention INVITE system which allows to have this non-stop shitfest with the same teams splitting points of ranking. All those tournaments are the same.
2023-06-06 13:34

What shitfest? You mean Blasts 3 events of the year? Other events lower ranked teams can finely qualify openly themselves! Since they're so good, why don't we see these "great" teams in events like EPL, ESL Challenger Kato, even Gamers8 has open qual. Can go to cologne or kato too. So what's the big deal? These teams with their playstyle can only manufacture some success once in a while cause it lacks consistancy and needs player to show up big time.

+1 some of those teams are already in gamers8, they were invited. So we'll see how they do there
2023-06-06 14:21
I would say 2 slots with 14 invites per event is not enough
2023-06-06 14:22
1 reply
Sure, and I'm not gonna act like it entirely is. But the fact of the matter is, if you're such a good team. You should be capable of making it, and if you definantly didn't just have that 1 little stint then what's stopping you from qualling and proving you're the best? And you know what makes it better, is that the "best" invited teams are already in the event, so it should only be easier for you. Look at a team like C9, they didn't get an invite for the upcoming Blast event, but you know what? They could still breeze through open quals, which shows the difference between them and these 1 hit wonders. Their inspiration should be heroic and gambit in the online era, if they anywhere near can replicate the level they can, but they simply can't.

Respect Twistzz for speaking out against useless paycheck stealers like ESIC and CSPPA. CS:GO is still way better than Valorant though, it doesn't matter how unprofessional organizations surrounding CS:GO are, the game itself is still superior.

Cs will always be better but scene is also a mess with it being open circuit
2023-06-06 22:27
1 reply
I strongly disagree that mess is a bad thing in sport. Open circuit is way more fair and interesting than close circuit. When money and partnerships matter too much, we get BLAST's clown fiestas where all the same teams playing against each other again and again no matter how bad they become. If we no longer had stories like Outsiders or GamerLegion, there would be no reason to watch CS anymore. Same in football, although it's luckily formally not a closed circuit yet (but rich are trying!), when it became impossible for teams like Steaua and Red Star to win Champions League anymore and every year it's Real, Barcelona, Bayern or one of the top English teams it became useless, no one to cheer for. The only way close circuit works fine is when it designed like in NA sport leagues, with draft and salary cap, so it's still worse than open circuit, there are no true cinderella stories anymore, but at least there is a constant rotation of contenders. Without that closed circuit is always bad and favors rich rather than smart or talented.

and too many paycheck stealers. just look at cph flames, a t2 team probably getting paid a really nice salary > goes bankrupt > players buy out their stickers trying to profit. Probably more examples like these that we don't get to hear
2023-06-09 14:01
I just started the podcast, but number 1 is he talking about heroic? Because that's the only "known" case we have, that or Chaos. And the 4th one is quite concerning too, because I expected LANs nowadays to get some good check on equipment and everything, but for what he says it looks like he could bring an usb and start a free cheat with no problem, isn't?
