Nah, it was something like that for 2020 i think as well but Zywoo still got #1 because of consistency. I expect something of the same this year. No amount of good performances will make up for his atrocious start this year.

This first half of the year Zywoo 100% #1, now we gotta see how he performs the second half, but a reminder that we won't have the yearly second Major, so s1mple has to go monster mode at Cologne and the other relevant Big Events (EPL, Gamers8, Blast Fall, Word Final - if they qualify) + Zywoo drop his form massively (which is almost impossible)

yeah 2023 will not have discussion for number 1. Zywoo is miles ahead of everyone, except device, but device still lacks in big events presences and trophy potential. Zywoo is major winner, rio winner, both mvps and the best rated player, so i dont think anyone will challenge this year.

it's debatable between him and ZywOo. For me, ZywOo is the best player to ever touch the game, but we're also counting the career, so S1mple remain the GOAT. If ZywOo win gamers8, cologne and world final and take mvp of all this 3 tournaments, they will be equal for the #1.

No, they wont, due to mvps, zywoo having no deep runs at major at all except last one obv.
Zywoo also doesnt have grandslam, no kato, no cologne, etc.
There's so many factors that s1mple still has that secures him a #1 on the goat list that zywoo simply doesnt(yet. I believe he'll definitely get there though)
ALtho csgo is soon over and simple is pretty much locked in at #1(just read your last part after i typed this, so scratch this last bit hehe)

Zywoo gets number 1 this year almost 100% but S1mple still the GOAT even if that happens, Zywoo will likely overtake next year tho if his form continues and S1mple doesn't bounce back again.
You'd need an insane performance from someone else this year to overtake Zywoo considering he undeniably has the best individual stats this year, has won a major as MVP as well as IEM Rio also as MVP.

For Device to get Top 10, Astralis would need more deep runs in more relevant tournaments in addition to Dallas.
If BlameF didn't even get Top 10 with his statistics last year, Device has no chance.
If Na'Vi get a proper IGL he can battle for the top 2 spot. No chance for top 1 though as GOAT ZywOo is too good.

Lots of T1 team were on their last breath at this time. I can't remember the % of Diamond coin but it was so easy to get it.
In 2023 title contenders didnt even get to play off because of the number of upsets.
Both Na'vi and Vitality didnt drop a map. Zywoo plays with AK way more than Simple. You cannot compare their performance as well. They both did great
