If you consider yourself a normie compared to gokushima (and rightly so, my elo isn't far higher than yours but for a 6k elo player any 3k elo and below is peanuts), think about the living hell that will be for a normal solo queue green/yellow level warrior? Bro they are doomed for weeks if not months. I imagine the first couple of weeks will be filled with 5 stacks, otherwise it will be absolutely crazy being, lets say 5k elo, and casually having a dmg 1.2k aiming at knees on your team. Players are gonna do their best to get out of that hell asap until they can become independent solo warriors again. For those who will solo all the way, either high or low elos, I can antecipate very stressful first couple of weeks :D

Compared to overall population of cs(every single player), level 10s are great players, but in the level 10 pool, I am still a normie. The level 2-7 will be such a load of bullshit. It's a scorching hell, but after the reset it will be multiplied by 30

They won't, but it would be unfair to level 2-7, when they will be thrown into the game with level 10s. Not even talking about >3k elo demons

2-3 months ago i was on smooyas chat and the faceit admin was saying that high elo people wont reset to same lvl as low elo. they still get reset, but you wont meet 4k elo people on lvl 4

I dont think it would make sense to reset elo. Given how little they really changed with the game. Ppl who are lv 10 now will also be lv 10 in cs2. I would understand it if the change was as big as in source to csgo. now it would be pointless.
