An extremely harrowing scene and a true portrayal of what these young men went through. There are some inaccuracies to point out, though. The LCA driver should be British, and the notion of men being shot underwater is false as it defies the laws of physics. Almost nothing went according to plan, and some men were as far as 200 meters away from reaching the beach. Nonetheless, it is still a great scene.
to this day the Largest Sea Invasion in Warfare's History
playing csgo is 100000x worse
The way that the actors and film writers demonstrate the PTSD and shell shock of the soldiers is really a work of art and truth
the invasion honestly shouldve been delayed, weather was shit and the men had to establish landing zones with little air support
i think waking up to 9+ notification on a now deleted threads hurts more tbh
Good movie showing how brave and heroic our soldiers are
Crazy to think most of these guys were younger than 25.
I've seen that scene like 5 times. One of my favourite movies.
