its more like 15mins per episode mostly. They like to repeat a lot of stuff. I think I needed about 2 years to catch up(episode 800 or smth at that time). They like to build up arcs to the finale and most arcs have pretty similar structure. So I think it makes sense to watch one arc and take a break from one piece until you miss the crew

watch onepace it filters out all filler and nonsense and just gives you the pure show, itll cut it in half almost

Why would you waste your time watching anime that was clearly made for children or adults who failed to grow up?

If you are worried about the size, this anime isn't for you but you will regret not watching it. I don't get why people are put off by a large amount of episodes... When an anime is good, I don't want it to end and I was so happy I got into it so late. Didn't take me long to catch up at all, binging like 12 or more episodes a day.

honestly not that long because opening and ending + recap takes out like 1/2 of the episode

I think manga is superior anyway. OP anime gets terrible at times and periods, with fillers and added filler scenes. Meanwhile manga quality is consistent, and is much faster to get through.

The anime up until ep. 500~ is awesome, but the manga is nohing less than amazing. Highly reccomend

Skip filler episodes, and watch x2 or x4 (yup you'll need to increase your reading skills for subtitles).

You shouldn't think of watching the anime as a goal, but as an adventure. Let yourself be carried away. When you get to the end, you'll wish there were more episodes, because you won't want it to end.
