i meant the total i5 build is, or should be, cheaper, the 13600k is only like 20$ more expensive than a 7600x in most regions, but a decent motherboard for a 7600x is at least 50$ more expensive. plus if you're on a really tight budget pairing the i5 with ddr4 memory will save you at least another 50$. obviously if you live in a region where the 7600x is that much cheaper, then buy the 7600x, there's really not much difference between them in gaming. i don't have a horse in the race, i have a 5600x, just hate the pointless brand wars, simply buy whatever is cheapest and fills your needs.
