1st of all they won worlds finals, their playoff matchups were : Vitality 1/4, Faze 1/2, Liquid finals
They won katowice in the most dominant way that somebody could even imagine w/o dropping a map except the one in finals

Bro so fucking stupid, the only REAL disappointment from this G2 roster was when they failed to qualify to IEM Rio major, before that they reached semi-finals in EPL 16 against Vitality (zywoo super hard-carrying), lost 1-2, they did a FUCKING 10-0 record in that EPL becoming the first team to ever record it, not even NaVi in their era did that. Afterwards they won world finals 2022, they won katowice this year, they a dominant 23 win streak, reached playoffs in EPL 17 and loses to ENCE in honeymoon with NertZ.
They go to paris major making it to legends stage, and HooXi makes a statement that "is stupid to have two BO1s in the same day, you cannot prepare well and of course play a good CS" so you can blame the fucking system of this stupid major that benefits tier-fucking2 teams. Reached quarter-finals in Iem dallas this year and now they are in semi-finals berth in Blast spring finals against Vitality/FaZe.
So you cannot say that G2 went from disappointment to disappointment. Do you even watch CS???
